Seriously, instead of wasting thousands of dollars on inferior supplements, we should be able to legally purchase steroids and see better results in a shorter time span. I realise there are side affects, but nothing worse than binge drinking or smoking, yet cigarettes and alcohol are still legal.
Im guessing its because there isnt a 'steroids lobby' donating millions of dollars every year to government parties in return for certain favours.

I agree. I think there should be a clinic in which you can go too and have them administered and dosed correctly. By doing this it would prevent much of the abuse and stigma associated with them. In my opinion roids are no different than plastic surgery or getting a botox injection as most people are doing them to improve their looks and not to gain an advantage at sports/competition. Also it should be regulated for a certain age and you must meet certain physical requirements to recieve them.

Exactly. There is a heroin shooting clinic in Sydney to ensure that the junkies dispose of the needles the correct way and ensure some level hygiene as well. If the government can advocate an act such as shooting heroin, I cant see why they wont have something similar for steroids.
Why is that?
NB - no one in my gym does steroids. Its the p*ssiest gym in all of London. We dont have a bench press or a squat rack. Just three adjustable benches, smith machine and cables and maximum weight on the db's is 22 kgs.Boss Red.

they are legal for sale their but there use is against the law....................LULZ!!!!
if you are an athlete where steroids are sanctioned against, you may be prosecuted if you test positive for.
the reason its legal .............. many foreigners travel to mexico specifically for "juice".
there was a thread where san diego miscer's would take a trip to tijuana ever week or two solely to get their "fix".
since its legal to buy in mexico, and legal to use if not competing in sports(also they are foreigners). they are outside the jurisdiction for prosecution from their native country and mexico.
i've been to tijuana many times and i've never seen anybody buy juice at the pharmacies.

Politicians with archaic beliefs and constituents with archaic beliefs, ones who believe their job is to "protect" the people from themselves, and ones who haven't figured out how to make enough money on them.

My mate is the operations manager and I pay next to nothing. It has served me well so far (gotten back in to lifting 4 months ago) but I will be moving to a better gym in the next 2 months.
Legal as in I can buy it at a pharmacy for bb use?
Can it be purchased for bb purposes though?Boss Red.

•Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States, though from time to time that requirement is called into question, most recently after Arnold Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, was elected governor of California, in 2003. The Constitution originally provided a small loophole to this provision: One needn't have been born in the United States but had to be a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted. But, since that occurred in 1789, that ship has sailed.
•One must also be at least 35 years of age to be president. John F. Kennedy was the youngest person to be elected president; he was 43 years old when he was inaugurated in 1961. There is no maximum age limit set forth in the Constitution. Ronald Reagan was the oldest president; at the end of his term in 1988, he was nearly 77.
•Finally, one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen. The Constitution is vague on this point. For example, it does not make clear whether those 14 years need to be consecutive or what the precise definition of residency is. So far, however, this requirement has not been challenged.

William N Taylor is a large reason why steroids are illegal. I've been reading through some of his books on steroids. In one book he lists "increased appetite, increased time spent going to the gym, flexing in the mirror" as signs of steroid use. I put the book down for a few weeks after I read that when I realized this is the dumba** that pushed for steroids to be a controlled substance.

Short-Term Physical Effects
Steroids are illegal because many of their effects are adverse--and they take hold quickly. They can cause tumors on the liver, jaundice and high blood pressure. They cause testicles to shrink, can cause infertility, and can cause men to develop breasts and lose their hair. In women, they can disrupt the menstrual cycle, cause the facial hair to grow and the voice to deepen. In adolescence, they can do all of these things as well as stunt growth.
Short-Term Psychological Effects
Steroid users are also susceptible to "roid rage." Symptoms include feelings of paranoia and jealousy, extreme aggression and irritability. Steroid users also have a dangerous feeling of invincibility, which can lead them to make poor decisions.
Long-Term Physical Effects
Steroids are also illegal because in the long term, they take a serious toll on the heart. They raise "bad" cholesterol and lower "good" cholesterol. This causes a buildup of plaque in the arteries that restricts blood flow to the heart. If blood cannot reach the heart, the user may suffer a heart attack. If blood cannot reach the brain, the user can suffer a stroke.

I understand the rule of having to have been a resident for 14 years but don't really understand the other 2. I mean point of a democracy is that the people choose who becomes president right. So if the majority of people think somebody born abroad or under 35 is most fit to become president then he should be able to.
