Anyone successfully prevented stretch marks?
I know the question is a bit of an oxymoron, but work with me. My legs have been growing really fast. The other day I was itching myself and I noticed a new stretch mark. It's not deep or dark in color, but you can feel it. I already have a few on my legs towards my groin, and I don't want anymore. I have a feeling my legs are going to continue to grow a lot, and at a rapid pace.
I've never focused so heavily on them, and big legs run in my genes on both sides. I've heard of the cocoa cream, and vitamin e... but has anyone really felt like this was actually helpful?
Any other tips?

I do not have any stretch marks after 2 pregnancies. I gained and lost 65 pound with each. I used St. Ives Collagen body moisturizer everyday on the areas that I thought might get stretch marks like my breasts, tummy and butt. I was religious about it. It seemed to work, but people claim that getting stretch marks is genetic or age. However, my Mom has a lot of stretch marks from her pregnancies, and I was 30 when my first child was born.
Here is a link the moisturizer. I think this is a newer version than I used. It's cheap and available in drugstores/supermarkets.

Similar situation here. I had only one pregnancy at age 32, gained 85 pounds, but have maybe one tiny little, inch-long stretch mark on each hipbone. I have to catch the light at a particular angle to see it.
Strange thing is that I DO have stretch marks on my knees, inner thighs, and under my arms from lifting. I seem to get them rather easily, but maybe I didn't get them during my pregnancy because I coated my pregnant belly with olive oil every day (from the very start). I'd even use a towel soaked in olive oil, and would let that soak in while I slept. Maybe this eased the stretching somewhat, who knows. But I do know that I didn't itch, and that my skin was pliable and very supple throughout.
I also hear that genetics is primary factor, and I do come from a family of 'stretch mark' mamas.

I noticed one underneath my arm pit towards the rear delt and the same day I rubbed some cocoa butter w/shea on it...gone the next day I was surprised because I got some horrible older ones on my knees (growth spurt) and cocoa butter didnt do crap for them lol Guess you gotta get em when they very first appear, the older ones are harder to get rid of.

^^This! It is so funny, but I had always used this exact moisturizer, before, during and after all three pregnancies! I just liked it, I have dry skin anyway, and I am religious about putting on moisturizer daily no matter if I am preg or not. I didn't get a single stretch mark on my stomach or hips, but who knows why. Could be that I just wasn't going to anyway.
I got stretch marks on my hips during puberty that have never totally disappeared, and I got a few on my breasts after nursing, though.
I don't get how these guys are growing muscle SO FAST that their skin can't keep up, unless they are using 'roids? I mean, it takes a heck of a long time to build a pound of muscle. I would think that their skin would have ample time to stretch adequetely as they get bigger. I know people who put on alot of weight get stretch marks too, but fat is a whole lot less work/time to pile on, lol.
