Turn Down Bass on Logitec Speakers/Computer?

My new apartment has wood in the living room, so my sub hooked up to my computer/tv/xbox is going to make my neighbors hate me.

Anyway I can turn down the bass? Any audio/equalizer type software for computers?

I turned the bass nob all the way down, still tooo loud.

If your motherboard has audio control software with it then you should be able to open the software and adjust the equalizer. You can also adjust the equalizer in windows media player and itunes for sure. You could always build a preamp to filter out the frequencies you don't want to hear in between your computer and your speakers.

I have the same exact problem with my Z-5500s.. can't turn the bass up past 2-3 bars without getting complaints. It should have a bass option on your remote. Check the owner's manual, too.

You could just get a sound card. tweaking to the max then.

If you have vista you'll probably have the HD audio control panel which is easy to control.

Sub can also.. be set on top of some towels. Wont do much, but will absorb some of downward vibration.
    Viam inveniam aut facium
Try to rep everyone back, leave me a link though. i have dialup.
