    Unhappy Lose skin....help

    Hi all,

I'm relatively new to this site. A year ago hit 102 kilos, in six months lost 40 kilos, now sitting at 65kgs.

I was always fit and trained on and off for years, however after being in a bad relationship hit the food and BALLOONED!

Back to good old self now, however wanting to compete, don't know whether the skin on my stomach is going to tone up when I drop another 10 kilos or if its going to get more "crepe" like....does anyone have any experience in this....or any suggestions.

Its not like a skin sag or overhang from being excessively big as my stomach was never that big. Obviously don't want to get up on stage if my stomach skin isn't going to be tight...HELP its holding me back....

Give skin at least a couple years to bounce back fully after weight loss. How well it rebounds will depend on how much you lost, how fast you lost it, your personal genetics, and how well you take care of your skin. Drink lots of water, moisturize, and WEAR SUNSCREEN. UV light damages skin elasticity--among its other evils--and will make it less likely to shrink up. Good luck!

PS: ladies who have competed may be able to tell you more, but I think I've heard that comp. judges aren't supposed to knock points off for loose skin? Or maybe they're not supposed to deduct for *stretch marks.* I dunno. Something that pregnant ladies often get is something they're not supposed to penalize for.

    Boyfriend: "No thanks, dude."
SDOM: "You sure you don't want one for the pretty lady?"
Ives: "The pretty lady doesn't eat candy. That's how she got so pretty."
