have tried every diet in the book...I workout like an animal and eat 100% clean
yet no matter what I do, I don't lose weight (1-2 lbs a week) unless I eat so little to the point where I'm starving most of the day and can't stop thinking about food
is this normal? are u supposed to feel starved 24/7 while cutting or does it go away?

how much do you weigh? 1700 calories may not be enough for you
do you do either lift/cardio everyday?
how much water do you drink?
what do you eat when you do eat?
one thing i found that really helped is eating stuff i didn't enjoy and tasted like dump. It really kills your appetite especially when you're starving. Raw carrots do the trick for mefecalpheliac

I weight 218 lbs
1500-1700 calories is my absolute only option. Have tried 1700+, 2000+, 2400+ and none of it results in any weight loss at all. I have had every blood test done and talked to every doctor in the f*cking world. I'm healthy as a bull, just have a horrible metabolism I guess
I lift like an animal
drink plenty of water
eat perfectly clean diet (moderate macros)

there is your main problem. The body works a funny way, you need to eat enough to lose weight. I really don't know how much a 220lb person should be eating but if you're serious about losing weight you should really do cardio. I know cardio blows but its something you have to do. You eating 1700 calories a day might get you quick results but those results aren't permanent. Eat more and do more cardio imo

Celltek, I'm like you. I was always skinny fat. Metabolism sucks. Pick up a physical demanding sport and do that everyday. Way back in highschool, I got in shape quickly by playing 2-3 hours of soccer everyday. Got my first glimpse of upcoming abs.

two things i'm willing to bet on:
1. your protein/fat/carb ratio is beyond ****ed up
2. you've been trying to diet for so long that your metabolism is in serious starvation modeRIP Mom... 12/4/52-9/2/10

You need to eat more. 1700 calories for a 220 lb man? I eat 1600 calories and i'm a 5'4 asian girl. Seriously.

no srsly i used to be 150, u just need some motivation and dedication, thats how I i it.
sure it sucked having to be bloated and stuffed all the time, but just think u are ur ideal physique and u can attain anything.
oh and u might want to look at ur diet... maybe add some metabolism boosting foods(blueberries, cinnamon, oatmeal)
