Norepinephrine can affect alpha-adrenergic mediated hepatic glycogenolysis under certain conditions. There are redundant controls of glycemia and it's far from being the only effector of hepatic glucose production and it's not likely at the top of the list of importance.Originally Posted by ss4vegeta1
