With the Government Take over of health care, it's a very good reason to drop those extra pounds and keep that heart in tuned.
Get ready for our health care to be ran like the Post office and DMV
By the way congress voted that they do not have to have the same health care as us... GEEEZ I WONDER WHY....
Now I must go run on that treadmill

What? Sorry, this is the section where bodybuilding and fitness is discussed. No, problem...
The misc section is just two doors down the hall...then take the first turn to the right..."First train the mind, then the body."
Made from all-natural products since 1968...no gear, no HRT, no prohormones.

Yeah, me too....I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when more people get covered with fewer doctors available to cover them. I am also thrilled with the idea that every medical procedure now has to be cleared with some government constructed regression equation rather than by my doctor! I'll also be sitting back and eating popcorn while watching this ever expanding financial black hole suck away dollar after dollar into the ether, with nary a clue as to where it went, how it was spent, and what it was for. The government has done so well financially managing other entitlement programs like social security and medicare, that this new government health care plan is bound to be a success!

My biggest concern are for those with pre-dispositions already. No matter how well I take care of myself (type 1 diabetic), what happens when I'm in my 60s, 70s, 80's (if I make it that long) and I need a procedure or some form of special treatment. Now it has to be approved by a bearucrat (sp?), or some government equation?
Not seeking sympathy, but just trying address those of us who DO take care of ourselves who already have genetic predispositions.
It doesn't all fall under the umbrella of simply taking better care of yourself.

I believe this topic needs to be in this section. There are many reasons we all go to the Gym and eat right. Some do it for the opposite sex, Some do it to feel better about themselves, and some do it for their health. I posted this because it's a very important reason to take care of yourself. You DO NOT,I repeat DO NOT want to have to go to the hospital for anything when this bill comes into effect. If you don't believe me go ask someone from Canada or England how there universal healthcare has worked out for them.
How would you feel instead of making your appointment a month or two in advance you have to make it a year in advance ? Or go to the Emergency room and instead of 2-3 hour wait it's 12 hours.
Listen to me know and believe me later ( Old Saturday night live skit )

What a bunch of helpless little whiners we have become as a society. 200 years ago, you'd be lucky if they had a little whiskey for you to drink before 5 guys held you down to cut off your gangrene infested leg with a rusty saw. Today, millions are crying like spoiled little toddlers because they might have to wait a little longer for treatment or pay some higher insurance premiums. Some family out in the plains of the old west watching their sole provider slowly dying from (then) untreatable internal injuries would have loved to have even a fraction of the health care we take for granted today.
