If you can, take your supplements in their original packaging and put it in your checked baggage. I travel every week for work and always take multivitamins and protein and never had have a problem with them in my carry-on but for stuff like creatine that could easily be confused for a narcotic, I wouldn't risk it.

Also - if you need a protein fix, most airports now sell Muscle Milk and Muscle Milk light drinks. I know it's not the greatest, but it beats the heck out of most other airport foods.

Depending what on which supplements you are taking, you can put them in your checked bag. But you can't take more than 3oz in your carryon, that they will take.

    this.

I would try to avoid bringing as much carry-on stuff as possible. Even though there is most likely nothing wrong with bringing the majority of supplements onboard an airplane - its just a pain in the a**.

I have brought things in carry on as well. While original packaging helps I'm sure, I have actually put creatine and vanilla whey protein in ziploc bags and attached a piece of tape with "Creatine" or "Protein" written on them w/o any problems....Seriously!

That's all you need right there. Excellent advice!

The key is the original packaging. Just take everything in it's original package and place it in your checked luggage. No problems at all.

Is airport security up to date with the new supplement bans? For example, if a person brought on Spawn do you think they would even look at the ingredients?

This year Ive taken 20 pounds of protein poweders and several more pounds of bcaa's/eaa's etc...with me on checked luggage with no issues.

I bought 2 sandwich bags with 2 scoops protein powder in each onto the plane itself with no issues. Everybody on the plane was looking at me when I was making my protein drinks, lol I drank it quick so everybody didnt think I was making a bomb or anything, people are so paranoid.
