New to keto(forgive if asked) and I made what I thought was a keto fatbomb chocolate cake. Had cocoa, butter, unsweet baking choc. and splenda 2cups for a 8"round. Came to find out 2c sucralose NO CAL sweetner has 408gm carbs and 1501 cals. Before knowing this I binge on 1/2 cake. OUCH!!! Lable sayes <1 gm carb per tsp w/ocal. Got info from fitday and recalculated over again. WTF What can I use that truly has no carbs/cals. Thanks in advance

The sweetener itself is 0-carb, but it uses maltodextrin and/or dextrose as a carrier which adds carbs. Use a liquid version that just uses water as the carrier.

Or use Sweetleaf brand stevia.

Use sweetleaf stevia with enhanced with inulin fibre.
Taste is just amazing, so sweet and natural. Doesn't have that sharp hit to it that real sugar and stevia have, just this nice mild sweet taste that really hits much smoother than other sweeteners.
The inulin fiber enhanced one is just an added bonus, pretty much like stevia + benefiber in one.
That and the fact that Splenda is questionable for your health. There are tons on here that will defend it to the death, but fact of the matter use many ketoer's own logic against them: Splenda has not been around for that long - so it's long term effects on people have yet to be revealed.
