Hello all, been dieting and excercising for about 4 months now and have lost about 4 stone in those months... i started at 19 goin on 20 and i'm now at 16 but I'm curious... I've still got love handles and theres still abit of lower stomach fat, love handles are goin in abit but i'm just worried if theres anything I'm doing anything wrong.. last thing i want is to be skinny fat lol which i pretty much am at the moment, I've worked my core... hardcore and when i tense i dont have to push through 5 layers of fat in able to touch the hardness.
I might be worrying too much lol but I'd like to get some more clarification on this thanks

Generally, the stomach and sides are last to go it seems like.
Just be patient, keep your diet and gym work on point, and you will be eventually where you want.2/8/10 - 210.2

From my experience. The lower stomach is the last to go. I lose a little from legs and arms first. then a little from face and chest. And finally stomach. It's not like I lose all the fat from those places then the stomach just a little from each section and continue. It could be that I notice them the extremities first since I don't have much there to begin with. Just because you work those areas doesn't mean that that's where you'll lose from. Just keep up/increase the deficit and you'll be alright. This should not be taken as bro-science, just my own experience.

Some simple advice on this REALLY common problem. Dynamic exercise will help this problem somewhat. Think compound exercises (lunges, squats, squat thrusts etc.). Also, agree with what was said above: make sure you are lifting hard and heavy, keep your protein up and unfortunately, lower ab fat is the last to go. Keep it up!
