That was solid FLEX, said wtf at no spotter, x2 what Spanks said at least set up in a rack? Bet ya could get 305 or more like other poster said if you dropped a couple sets out.
Conclusion - MIRIN'!

Awesome squats, 90's on the presses ain't too shabby! on your barbell curls do you use straight bar or EZcurl bar?
Thanks man; straight bar these days. When my elbow acts up I do EZ Bar curls. But it's been playing nice for quite a while.

Always SteBo is the measuring stick on the DB presses; and always why I feel like a little gurly-man.

Good stuff as always. Keep it going.
Thanks man. I like the CNS activation, but there is always a trade-off
When goin for a 1RM on any lift the progression usually makes or breaks it more than anything else.
At least for me it does.

Get your butt in the cage at least dude!
I was sure I'd get the 295; and I did get a spot from random dude for the 305.

Evidence of douchbaggery in even that vid, or was it just a long gap between sets (bench you walked buy still loaded with a "full" barbell)?
All kinds of **** in that vid; dbs on the floor, plates on the bar next to me. No one was around. That crap was already there.

Well hats off to you for deadlifting with an arthritis flare. You wouldn't damage the joint - joints actually love movement, but ouch!! I hope you're feeling better.

It's probably 1/4 the size of my current gym, but that's fine. Most of it I didn't use anyway. Way too much cardio crap and studios for Zumba class and ****.
And yes; TIDY. Obviously in those pics everything was in its place since they were taken for the web site; but the club looked pretty much the same today. Everything that wasn't in use was on a rack.

Sick of my little namby pamby "fitness" club so I joined a new club today:
It's further away (13 min drive there; 14 minutes back) but it's got a totally hardcore atmosphere, lots of huge bodybuilders and dumbbells to 150lbs.
$160/year
Deadlifters welcome.
Good deal.
The dumbbell rack alone is worth the price of admission.
Believe me, I sympathize with you in both your frustrations with your previous gym, and your efforts to find a home. I went through the same crap 15 years ago; the difference was that in a small-market area as where I live, I ran out of gyms real quick.
