Thanks mater; but no turkey for us. Our Thanksgiving was back in early October.
Roast Beast is on the menu erry day this week.
Due to my shoulder issues I've been starting chest workouts and shoulder workouts with a lateral movement first before doing any pressing in order to get my shoulders warmed up.
Seems to be effective so far...
Thanks hammy.
Thanks bakes; after slacking off for 6 months or so on the deads I've been busting my ass on them again last couple of months.

I think it's no more than just the simple challenge to improve that's presented. Some guys revel in it; others, not so much.
teh d34dZ
Belt & Chalk Only:
535 x 1 PR (no vid) (+10lbs)

660 x 10
750 x 10
840 x 10

Added a rep @ 455 and 475 on the deads and added 10 lbs to the top set, getting a new strapless PR @ 535.
Also added a couple reps on the top 2 sets on leg press.

No question I will never be that guy that's still pressing the 30lb dumbbells after training for years (and yes I see guys younger than me doing crap like that).
Thanks as always for the journal support Bill. Means a lot.
Actually I just somehow managed to get the belt prong to go right through my shirt and couldn't get it off. LMAO.
I has 2 nice holes in that shirt to remind me of this lift.
Sorry for no vid. Started getting crowded in the area, and the PT that nagged me about the chalk was in the area with a client, and no video cameras allowed so I didn't bother.
Thanks though, hammy.
Scroll up, p.
And yes; I cut earlier this year and dropped 25 lbs over 5 months.
Have gained back about half of that in just over 2 months.
Thanks baby. Continuous improvement is the name of the game.Insta: flexjs

I was going to say something nice, but then you had to go a mention snow. grrrrr. Keep that crap away from me. lol.
You wear glasses? That totally makes up for the Jordans. lol. I gotta admit I have a soft spot for guys who can pull off the muscles with a hint of nerd (which btw, nerd is good thing IMO). Now, if only you had a pair of suspenders....whoops, I've said too much. hehehe.

Thank you sir. No need to lurk. All comments/feedback (good or bad) are welcome here.
Sine I was 12.
Wore contacts from 15 to 35 but I can't wear them anymore; had to go back to glasses.
Doesn't bother me as much anymore...but I still hate wearing them.
Also: strong nerd here. I'm an Accountant. SRS.

I've recounted this anecdote before, but it bears repeating:
At the last commercial gym where I had a membership, on my first day training there, as I stepped over to the dumbbell rack to grab a pair of 'bells, an average-looking guy was standing there doing Curls with 25-pound dumbbells.
Two years later, by coincidence, the same scenario happened to occur, and that same guy, looking just the same as he did two years ago, was standing there Curling the same 25-pound dumbbells.
That made a lasting impression on me. And while it's too bad someone had to pay for that lesson, I'm glad it wasn't me.
Thanks as always for the journal support Bill. Means a lot.

That reminds me of thread I made earlier this year:
Thanks.
Coming up on 2 years now at my current gym, and even though I've switched locations, most of the other regulars have too; so I see the same people every morning, and there are several dudes that are there more or less the same time as me every day, just going through the motions and doing the same weak-ass **** day after day after day. One of them is the guy that I am 99% sure is the one snitching on me for using chalk. It's pathetic.
And speaking of which. I ordered 3 big things of the "liquid grip" from here the other day, along with a set of Fat Gripz.
Stay tuned.Insta: flexjs

Out of all the possible mistakes people can make in their training, ^^^^this is the most illogical, and makes the least sense. How can anyone with even a fourth of a brain think he'll get bigger/stronger by lifting the same weight all the time? I'd be very curious to hear the reasoning behind that from one of those jokers.
