+20lbs.... excellent. Great work. Did my first ever squat with a belt yesterday. It definitely took some load off the back, but it'll take getting used to. Is your max different, with than without the belt? I'm sure the answer is yes, but curious on your thoughts.

nice workout. On your chest supported rows, is the weight loaded in front of you like on a tip or in the middle of the machine. My chest supported t-bar apparatus has the weight loaded in the middle. Seems like I can do more weight that way than with it loaded in front (still feel it either way though).

Yes, I saw them, but didn't quite know how to respond. I know when I look at some of my old, old pics from before I got into bodybuilding, I have to smh in disbelief that I was once that skinny.
Life is a very circuitous, winding path for most of us; lots of factors and influences pull and push on us to get us to where we stand today.
As far as the car pics, good on ya for getting ready for Winter. I've been doing the same thing to my wife's CRV and my 4wd truck. No brain, no gain.

A comment on form:
I like moving lots of poundage, but I strive to do so with the best form possible. I see a lot of guys doing pulldowns with horrible form, using their body as a counterbalance to move the weight instead of their muscles. Took this vid this morning to show what I think is pretty good form on the pulldowns, which is one of my favorite back exercises; always gets my lats pumped up.
And someone was asking about the cable shrugs recently, so I took a vid of those to show you all wtf I am doing here:

It's out in front. And yeah, physics will dictate that the further the weight is from the fulcrum the harder it will be to lift. I'd be happy with just a regular t-bar apparatus (as in no chest pad), but this one does the job.
Yep; there's been many comments from people on here about my "natural strength" and good genetics and blah blah yadda yadda. When you look at those pics, it's hard to deny that I simply busted my ass for a lotta years.

I could watch you do pulldowns for ages and ages! Awesome. Had the vid been taken from more of a side/slightly front view, you'd see how your shoulders, chest, everything pumps.

I keep them on the footpad, but I'm not as tall as you. Was actually gonna ask you if you stood flat on the floor but I forgot to.
Thank you sir.

Didn't have time to post about this before work but I am phcuking pissed off again. My second week at the new gym the front desk girl was walking around the club and saw my container of chalk out and told me "Sorry, no chalk" so ever since then I've been keeping it in my gym bag, being super discreet, and ensuring not to leave any mess.
Today was the first day I had the container out of my bag, and I only chalked up once then put it away and no staff was around.
HOWEVER, after I was done with the bb presses (where I used the chalk) I was doing dumbbell presses in another area of the gym, and I saw the dude from the front desk lurking around the shoulder press station in the mirror. I thought "oh phuck, he's looking to see if I used chalk." but then he didn't come over to me so I figured I was just being paranoid.
Nope. As I am leaving the gym he says "Hey, how was your workout?" Kinda cought me off guard because usually he just says "Have a nice day" so I was like wtf? And just said "fine." You know me; not mr chatty and I had already forgot bout the whole chalk paranoia thing (had other things on my mind). So he was nice about it, but he said "I have to remind you there's no chalk allowed in the gym. Sorry." I just "alright, fine" and walked out.
Actually I also might've said "This gym phucking sucks." as I walked out too.
So I dunno if someone is ratting me out, or if they have it in for me, or if he was watching me on the security camera or what, because how da phcuk did he know where I was training and to come over and look for chalk? The shoulder press station is not visible from the front desk.
And if they're gonna start nagging members about sh*t, then why don't they nag all the people that leave the equipment all over the phucking place.

The next time you're in I would ask to speak to the manager and ask them that very question.
I'd also ask them what the problem with using chalk is provided you're cleaning up after yourself. Is someone going to be pizzed off because the bar isn't slippery enough when they go to use it after you?
I honestly don't understand it... esp. given that you work out at such a low-traffic time. Why the fuk would they care what you do unless you're making a mess?
