wtf..i grew 2 1/2 inches taller at 25 years old?

So I went to a doctors appointment today to pickup the results of from my x-rays.
A year before that the same doctor measured me at 5'9 exactly on the dot. Just yesterday after a rudimentary checkup, the doctor measured me again and I stood 5'11 1/2 barefoot at the office?? I thought he was kidding and he confirmed I was trult 5'11 1/2..

doctor said apparently my growth plates never fused since puberty and im a rare case in that I will be growing well into my late 20's, with a prediction at 6'1-6'2 at 29.

can anyone explain what is happening? Is this even possible.

I thought men stop growing at 21. can anybody clarify?

most guys stop growing around 16-18. btw did you get measured in the middle of the day? cause youre taller in the morning. you might be an even 6'0 when you wake up

No, it is broscience. Even if you have grown 2 inches in a year he is throwing out some bull**** numbers about your "potential" growth like he knows what he is talking about. Sounds like he can't even use a ****ing measuring tape.

No, I graduated college and work in the city, so I haven't been home in an over a year. The same people I see everyday, work, my girlfriend etc, haven't seen a change in me either. I guess it was so gradual, that people cant register it.

Meh, nothing has changed brah.All that fluff talk about height was overrated to me.

biggest changes are my old clothes dont fit right like they used to and im a full shoe size bigger.

plus I can finally hold my own on the basketball court.

well Im interested to find some factual scientific evidence to explain such anomalies. Ive done some research and have still come up short.
