    How many pounds do you have to lose before you notice a difference?

    I think ive lost 2.5 pounds now (from 175 to 172.5) and I really dont see a difference. It might be waterweight but i dunno, its been a couple weeks now.

    going from 175 to 165 is gonna be a big difference. its around 6 percent bodyfat.

    Agreed. Typically 10-15 pounds before people start noticing the difference. But I do think it varies a little bit based on what kind of shape you're in to start with.

    I started at around 220 back in June 2009. I dropped to 205 within a month. I noticed that my double chin was gone and I had shed a bit off my gut. When I hit 195 I was a bit flatter. Now with every pound I shed I see more and more.

    I think it's more based off body fat, the lower you get, the more you notice.

    What really makes a difference is when you're already lean and drop fat, thus showing muscle. Going from fat to less fat isn't that exciting.

    As previously stated, it varies. My body weight flucuates from 197-205 and I can't tell the difference. I agree with everyone else though 10-20lbs for it to be noticeable.

    I've gone from 245 to 220 and I don't really notice a difference other than I fit into my old jeans and my belts are too big now, but maybe that's because when I look into the mirror I am expecting a bronze god, but that's like 3%bf, not 10-11
