Life is forever evolving and changing. Jen and i just recieved the WONDERFUL news that we will be the parents to a baby girl come this August. Lilianna Robitaile will be an AMAZING addition to our lives. I have never been happier. I am soo looking forward to the day she is born. Its almost like I miss her already, although she isnt even born yet. I have so much love inside for little lilianna and my beautiful wife Jen, that words cannot describe. First and formost, I plan to do everything in my power to prove it to them. My life is now DEDICATED to another and I LOVE it!
Ok. So here it is. My new journal along with some new GOALS! I will NOT be competing this year. No bodybuilding shows. No powerlifting meets. I will have to pass on the PLing meet due to the back injury which set me way back on squats and deads (My bread and butter). No bodybuilding shows, only because i face the reality of the fact that I just have not been competing at my best. I need to GROW (ALOT), and then get as shredded as humanly possible inorder to be where I would want to be to even think about competing again. This average stuff is getting boring. So, in short its time to "REALEASE THE KRAKEN!"
I will be training very hard and heavy. To make GAINS, I will train for PAIN! Nothing less will do. I will use a mix of HEAVY compound moves along with some higher rep ranges and ALOT of intensification techniques. I am currently using a POWER/HYPERTROPHY split and loving it. I will continue this for now, but who knows whats around the corner.
The diet will be high in everything. High Protein. High Carbs. Mod/high fats. Loads of cals to ensure optimal growth. Dont get me wrong, this will NOT be an all or nothing bulk. Been there, done that! Good high quality food to flood the system.
I WILL continue cardio. I have noticed that cardio not only helps me stay leaner at a much higher calorie level, but it also seems to aid in recovery. on top of this I do NOT want to start from scratch wen contest season rolls around again. Also, doing all these 5Ks for charity feels pretty good. Great way to give to those who need and stay healthy at the same time.
After spening much time getting as large as possible, I will venture into my next Bbing contest prep and do battle once again at a MUCH bigger, leaner self than ever before.
If all goes well I will then train strictly for a PLing meet during that next offseason.
All in all this is going to take alot of patience on my part, but i am willing to make the sacrafices to get it done..
Anyway, HERE WE GO!! WATCHOUTNOW!!

Wow, congratulations "Dad"! Seeing as you have new responsibilities ahead, re-evaluating your goals is intelligent. Good time to spend more time on family but then again GFH and even stronger while staying lean and livin' life so you'll be ready to DOMINATE when the time comes!
