I typically have grabbed fish oil pills from my local grocery store (Kroger) or even CVS. I don't buy "their" brands, but usually its Natures Made, Sun Down, or Natures Bounty.
The last batch I bought was this:

Its the Pharmaceutical Version. It gives you 950mg of Omega 3's per soft gel. I don't quite know what this means ("providing 950 mg from 1360 mg of fish oil").
Anyways, all the other fish oils tend to have like 300mg of the EPA and DHA.
What are your thoughts and what type should I go for?

Something molecularly distilled. NOW Ultra Omega, Ascentia, or a MEG-3 product are good choices. Don't trust silly wabbits with your fish oil.Originally Posted by majorchamp

Just get something like NOW omega 3
Dont get the expensive fish oils, they aren't worth it. The only thing about them is taste and smell being different from regular fish oil.i rep back 1k+

Even with NOW omega 3 i don't get too many fish burps, only like one or two throughout the entire day. I am not a woman though, so i don't really care about a slightly bad taste in my mouth that lasts for a couple seconds, and only happens a couple times a day.i rep back 1k+

Personally I like a fishoil that combines with others(fishoil,flaxseed,borage), aka EPA,DHA,ALA,LA,OA,GLA and only in small doses.
A good product for straight EPA/DHA is Controlled Labs new product.
