Does anyone think that MuscleTech now control the Olympia considering the last 4 years it has been won by a MT athlete? Not saying that Dexter and Jay didnt deserve to win, but at least one of Jay's wins was a fix.
As an aside, the athletes who sign to MT's main rival BSN seem to go backwards. Ronnie lost the Olympia for the first time after signing for BSN. Trey Brewer seemed unstoppable until he signed for BSN, now he cant even get his pro card. Monica Brant was always top 4 Ms. Figure until she signed for BSN, now she is gone backwards.
Thoughts anyone????

Ronnie didn't lose the Olympia because he signed with BSN.
If you look at his physique it clearly wasn't the best that year.
Muscletech offers big money for top athletes so naturally they will get alot of the best. Many they have signed have also had very dismal careers also as pros.
I would think most fans would agree it was coincidence that they got two of the best pros signed and they won.
MT isn't buying the Mr. Olympia trophy.Keymaster of platinum accounts

Victor Martinez won the 2007 Olympia if you count all the judges votes. The way the voting system is set up, just like in pretty much every other subjective sport (ie. top and bottom scores get removed etc), gave Jay the edge.

thats true.
thats true.
but if he was with MT they woulda let him get away with it.
just like cutler 07.
yes they have the best athletes no one questions this.
but...
the best athletes do sometimes come in off. THATS what this is about.
off + sponsorship round = win (cutler 07)
off + no sponsorship round = loss (ronnie 06)

While I certainly don't believe in all the "conspiracy theories", there's something to be said for what Kevin Levrone said on MD Radio a couple of months back about the Olympia.

my humble opinion
hell yes, i may not agree with you to the letter, but good lord i am tired of 5 page ads. even when i go to GNC they shove their muscle tech products in my face,5 years of research?fine.what about pushing products that get the bb.com gold seal? i also severly cut back on buying muscle magazines because i end up paying $5-8 for muscle thech ads.50lbs of muscle in one month<---anator p70.yeah ok.

Thank you, Luke...
First off, if the IFBB was fixed, all the athletes would of complained...
Look at last year... The top three were working for MuscleTech, but those top 3 guys were right where they deserved when it came to placings. They were better than the rest of the guys... Who's to say that Jay didn't deserve that title coming in the way he did? The man deserved every bit of it.
Let's look at Gustavo... He got dropped and he placed first last year at the AC Pro 2009 if I remembered correctly. Things happen.
MT is one of the best nutrition companies there is, and that ain't gonna change for a while.
