    it's not a permanent thing, but it should be effective if you have a specific day you want to look shredded up for (i.e. need to look shredded up for a trip to the beach/pool). keeping the "dry" look consistently is sort of far-fetched, but could be done with a low carb diet like I said before.

    its a science..

    for competition..its a mix of the above and duretics.... and is even more of a science..and can be dangerous...

    I agree. An all egg and meat fast is probably the most tolerable, quickest way to suck every extra drop of water out. Well...straight eggs is the fastest but I don't know anyone who can stomach it for longer than a day or two.

    no not really.. you can't change the ratio of intra/extra cellular water. By depleting water and all this sodium stuff, you're really just flattening yourself out. the "dry" look comes when you're LEAN. people don't understand the difference between holding water and holding fat. 95% of the time, people are just not lean enough.

    Depends on your genetics too. Some guys just never have that "grainy" or "dry" look. Just how there skin is. I am one of those guys that gets lean and grainy. My buddy has that Arnold round but insanely full look.

    Genetics
    Cardio
    Electrolyte management (salt/water/potassium) combined

    and of course diet.

    In this pic i was still carb cycling which high days were 300g, med was 150g, and low was 30g or less.

    Agree and disagree. There's a fine line involving sodium and water where you'll flatten out or spill over.

    I do believe people put too much emphasis on the "getting dry" vs. actually being lean.

    Carb intake is relative bro. It's how your body assimilates to the carbs over time. Someone who's carb cycling won't react as well to carbs as someone who's on keto.

    If you are getting lean doing keto, to get that dry full look ADD carbs. (General rule of thumb)

    If you are carb cycling, deplete carbs, THEN add them.

    It's all relative.

    i sodium load...then deplet for a contest...then water deplete after that. only thing is if your doing it for SB...that means booze. so as soon as you hit up the poolside bar...be ready to eff it all up..and get wasted with two drinks. due to not having water in you. if you do the dehydration method. which most bbers dont do anymore unless they didnt get as lean as the needed to be.
