5 tbsp. good organic cocoa powder
5 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
1.5 tbsp of raw turbinado sugar(I put it in the food processor until its fine so it goes into the mixture smooth)
a dash of kosher or sea salt
* optional dash of cayenne pepper
Mix it all together and spread out evenly and flat. I stuck mine in the fridge for 10 min., then scored it so there would be 5 equal pieces. I then stuck it in the freezer for a bit and divided it up. It was like a Mounds bar. OMG!! YUMMY Its definitely a much more rawer form of chocolate but if you like rich dark chocolate thats not too sweet you will love this. I think I just found my new favorite snack
Oh, btw here's the calorie breakdown for 1 piece(its a pretty big piece too) but you'll get a total of 5 servings
145 cal
14.5g of fat
6g of carbs
1g of protein
3g of sugar
Sounds yummy! I don't think I could ever cut chocolate out of my diet and this looks like a great, healthier option to feed my chocolate addiction. Thanks for sharing!!

Np! I kind of wing it, but here's a simple recipe I found online at AllRecipes.com that's similar. I would say the only difference is that I don't use as much sugar as this recipe does. Instead, I just choose the sweeter apples such as Gala, Fuji, Red Delicious, or Yellow Delicious.
Ingredients
* 4 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
* 3/4 cup water
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
1. In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft. Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher.
