    Clean bulk + Cut

    So I was thinking of a way to bulk and cut at the same time. I think I have a way, but I need input on this.


    My workout would look like this:

    Monday: Chest, Back, Hamstrings

    Tuesday: Cardio

    Wednesday: Quads, Calves, Shoulders

    Thursday: Cardio

    Friday: Bi's + Tri's

    Saturday: Cardio

    Sunday: Off

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Monday: Deadlifts, Stiff-legged deadlifts, Good mornings

    Wednesday: Cleans, Squats


    Weight days I will consume 4000cals, and cardio days I will consume 1800cals. Would this work? Macros I haven't worked out, I want a few ideas on this before I even do that.

    What you guys think?

    It would probably work, it seems to similar to carb-cycling diets in which a number of people have successfully recomped on, however I don't like the idea of entirely micromanaging my diet like that and would rather do short bursts of bulk/cut

    I see... Okay.

    So erm, what is a short burst to you? 2 weeks cut, 2 weeks bulk?

    I'm doing 5x5, but 4x8 on bicep's - cardio consists of 20 minute cycling, 20 minute cross trainer, 10 minute jogging, 5 minute rowing (increasing jogging/rowing as I get fitter)
