1. China - 26 gold, 17 silver, 11 bronze - 54 total
2. Great Britain - 18 gold, 10 silver, 9 bronze - 37 total
3. USA - 13 gold, 7 silver, 13 bronze - 33 total (barely edged out South Korea which has 11 gold)
...but but wait till we get to athletics!!
Great Britain - 3 gold (most so far)
USA - 2 gold
USA pretty much only looks good in standings because of the ridiculous inflation of swimming medals. Half the events don't even need to exist, and probably only do because USA knows that's their gravy train. And lol @ Phelps unquestionably being greatest olympian when his 21 medals wouldn't be even be like 10 in any other sport. Can use same logic to say Missy Franklin is the greatest olympian of these Olympics...please go, no one gives a phuck about swimming medals when there are so many them that don't need to exist.
Pathetic showing the most populous developed country on Earth (and sad thing is they take so much pride in sports too).
in b4 Americans act like they wouldn't say the same thing if China was the one winning swimming medals
