for all those people who always wear singlets ( i do), start wearing a tshirt for about a week or two and then again wear a singlet after this period and youll be amazed how much better you look and itll give you motivation to train harder...... works for me anyway

When I started my cut/serious nutrition and lifting phase I always worked out in white t-shirts. I recently started wearing cut offs and it's just insane how I can see both the progress I've made and how much work is left still, double motivation.

I train in my black "singlet" all the time now. LOL
I don't notice my gains but others at my gym do. I find it confortable to train in.
Once I get more lean I'll get me some "Y-back or T-back" tanks, there you go!Last edited by audieswu; 03-11-2010 at 05:16 AM.

Hmm I'm in two minds about this. On one hand I can see how not seeing your body every day would make the gains look more impressive when you do eventually take a look. But on the other hand, and call it a bit vain, but I like to see my muscles contracting when I lift weights. It shows I'm doing it right and also I get a bit of an ego boost which pushes me a bit harder!

I train in a tank! my motivation is seeing myself in the mirror with a sick pump.. id probably feel lazy if i went in with a t-shirt on... definitely worth a consideration when i get too fat to see vascularity someday, lol
