Deadlifts
565 x 3 PR
3 x 425 x 5
Bench Press
3 x 225 x 8 PR
Close Grip Fat Grip Extreme Pullups
4 x body weight x 8
I decided to test my 3RM AMRAP today, my goal was 565 for 3 and I achieved that. I never had a 3RM before so now I have a good base to gauge my progress for that.
I also don't a 5RM as well, so next week I want to push for 545 x 5. That will be a big PR. My best "AMRAP" is 530 x 4, but I did that on a final set doing 530 for doubles and that was really easy.
Following 565 x 3, dropped down to 425 to get to a total volume of 8,070lb. I have 6,830lb left of deadlift volume which I'll complete tomorrow afternoon. I'm probably going to do 3 x 385 x 3, on a deficit with bands, essentially speed work.
Previous PR for bench press was 2 x 225 x 8, 1 x 225 x 7.9999; 3 x 225 x 8 was a joke, really happy with my pressing.
I had never done more then 1 rep with 565 before, so I am very happy with this lift.Workout Log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=122921511

thanks man, enjoy
thanks brah, yeah I regretted that after re watching the video; next time for a new PR
3/4" Deficit Deadlifts With 1/2" Bands
3 x 385 x 6
Standing OHP
5 x 165 x 2 PR
Barbell Curls
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 3 PR
Fat Grip Tricep Pushdowns
100 x 10
120 x 10
140 x 10
As stated yesterday, todays goal was to get to ~6,830lb. 3 x 385 x 6 would be too easy to deadlift so I decided to challenge myself by adding bands and going on a deficit, made it way harder lol. But I did what I had to do.
Dat dere first time curling a plate, I am an official bro lifter now, come at me broz.
Resting up this weekend. Next week I am deloading volume for squats and deadlifts; 7000lb each for both, then the week after I want to attempt 515 for squats.
Dat afro/10 .. 1st and 3rd set shown.Workout Log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=122921511

Squats
4 x 440 x 4 PR
One Legged Leg Press
3 x 1 Plate x 5
GHR
body weight + 2 black bands (0.85" each) x 3 PR
body weight + 2 red bands (0.5" each) x 6
body weight + black band and red band x 6
Seated Calf Raises
3 x 2 Plates + 25 x 8
This weeks volume for both squats and deadlifts are 7k each. Total volume today was 7,040lb and PRd on a 4x4. Last set felt tough, not bad for training after breakfast.
Was too lazy to load plates on leg press, so did one leg at a time lol
GHR was all over the place haha, 2 black bands was brutal
Overall great workout, doing some upper body tomorrow.

GHR
3 x body weight + red band (0.5") x 10

SUCCESS.JPG smashed 545 x 5, looks like I could have gotten 6, didn't go for it as my goal was 5, I am proud. I dropped down to 430 for 10 after, real easy, to get me to 7,025lb volume.
Took it easy on all the accessory stuff and finished off with stretching.
HIPS, ROOF, too easy !!! !@#!@#$#@$
Taking it easy on upper day tomorrow.
I also am not going to have no caffeine until Monday. I had alot today, small timothys coffee 10:30a.m, starbucks tall americano at 1p.m, espresso preworkout at 5pm. Def helped with the lift
That's way more then what I usually have. None until Monday as thats when I am maxing out my squat again.Workout Log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=122921511

I didn't plan on going heavy today, changed my mind at the gym. 275 for doubles was way easier then expected, that's a good thing. The OHP was tough, but I got it.
Took it easy on all the other accessory stuff for the day, nothing crazy.Workout Log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=122921511

BOOM, 6 weeks ago I failed 525lb on squats.. I've been focusing on strengthening my glutes on forcing my knees out. It def helped.
I also lifted with a singlet which makes squatting so much smoother. I also didn't have any caffeine since Thursday so I had around ~180mg preworkout (suboptimal dose) but still got me going.
Dat dere 525lb fail
PEANUTS!! Once I unracked this I knew I was going to get it. It was a joke lol, did not expect it to be that easy.
OH BABY DAT COMMENTARY
BRB looked easy/10 goal was to smash 525lb.. I didn't want to push for 535.. I will go for 535 then 545 in November at an unsanctioned local powerlifting meet.
BRB evanesence for squats all day
I am still really happy with the 525lb. 20lb PR !!@!@ Tried to keep knees out, got that nice depth, I am happy.
The goal after the max out was to do 3 x 425 x 5 to get to ~7600lb for squat volume. I did one set it felt heavy as fcuk so my cousin and I dropped down to 2 x 355 x 5.
Total volume was 7,625lb; (435 x 1 and everything else after that counted towards working sets).
Tomorrow is 5,700lb worth of deadlift volume and I have two more squat days this week consisting of ~7600lb volume each day putting me at a weekly total of 22,800lb.
Benched after, 1 working set, 235 x 10, 10lb 10RM PR.Workout Log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=122921511

oh oh babyyyyyyyyyy
Thanks brah, this is the strongest I've ever been thanks to the Sphere Method
Thanks izzy. It felt hard, because its 525, but after watching it a few times when I got home, I was like that did not look like a max; 545lb soon!
Thanks brodah
Thanks Kyle, yeah pretty much those numbers. Previous best are 500/275/565 so if I can get 545/300/600 at the least those would be big meet PRs!
Indeed wolf. The resilience in me is strong!
5,700lb deadlift volume this evening.
I could do 5 x 570 x 2 .. BRB 1 x 570 x 2 would be a PR LOL .. if I were to get 5 x 570 x 2 that would be a 25lb 5x2 PR.
Or I could take it easy and do 2 x 475 x 6 for 5,700lb.. We'll see how we feel at the gym especially from maxing out yesterday.
