So was just showing my wife the before and after pics and my son said "Daddy you have your shirt off" referring to the after pic and I then asked my son "who is that" pointing to the before pic and he said "I dont know".

That quote is right on the money too and reminds me of my last visit with my Dr which was entertaining- as usual, lol, and he told me the story of how is mama was always obese, but one day, at age 60 years old- she decided to start walking and the fat fell off in record time. He said pretty soon she was walking everywhere. He also with a giggle says, and now he doesnt know where she is, lol, but no...he said she was on a walk when she died on the sidewalk at age 93.

It's been a disastrous week and a half. My daughter was born on the 14th. I've done a very poor job of preparing for it all and my eating plan has been off. My weight is up a little and the 4 mile run I did today felt like a marathon. On the other hand, strength is still going up (Prob cause I gained a few lbs) benched 295 for 2 sets of 6 and 305 for a set of 5. That's a PR for me.

Some of you need to get after it, almost reaching that 10 week mark. Time to put the excuses away and just do it! Dont be one of the ones that wishes they stuck to it throughout the whole contest...BE one of the ones that knows they gave it there all.
Dont let the simple temptations push you further away from your goals.
...Sorry had to let that out after seeing all these people have consistently bad weeks the last couple weeks.

Hey everyone! Hope your all had a great week for this competition. I see we lost a few more people
My training was good, went to a couple of fitness classes at the gym. Did my cardio all 5 days and my knee has gotten better so we've been running alot. Started tracking my calories this week and I've been hungry alot more
Still NO candy 24 days! This is some kind of record for me.
And its paid off, down 2 lbs.

At the beginning of this contest I was damn sure I was gonna get first place. I placed second a time or two before and was sure this was my time to shine, but after see some of the update pictures and seeing the motivation flowin through this thread it doesn't look like it's an easy task! The work is sure cut out for me! Everyone seems highy motivated and there are big changes already! Good job everyone!!

Good morning y'all. What a beautiful sunshining day out there! Im takin my daughter to work, then my sis is taking my mom and I somewhere, so I am excited to get some sun on my skin! Its cheat day, so dinner will be good- whatever it is. But I am having a hard time getting my breakfast down and its only 1/2 whole grain english muffin with 'bout 1 TBS PB on it (part of my cheat, lol) and a protein shake. I used straps today on about 80% of my lifts, including those for biceps. My hands/fingers didn't tire prematurely, so I was able to use more weight and/or get one or two more reps! It's worth a try if you haven't.

1 Arm DB row: 50x10, 50x9, 50x9, 50x8
Cable Row: 150x10, 150x9, 150x9, 135x10
Traps
DB Shrug: 65x12, 65x10, 65x10, 65x9
Cable shrug (something new): 90x10, 90x10, 90x10
I'm looking to pull backward at an angle, instead of straight up with the DBs. It takes some getting used to but I wanted to hit a region lower on the traps.
Rear Delts
Bent over Lateral DB raise: 15x12, 15x12, 15x10, 15x10
Biceps
Inc DB curls: 35x12, 35x10, 35x8, 35x9 drop to>>> 25x9
Hammer Curls: 45x7, 40x7, 35x8
Cardio: Ran/Walked 1 1/2 miles around HS track and got some sun while doing it!
