yes, you can loose 2 kg a week, but then you are more or less starving yourself, and you will probably loose muscles.

is there a specific reason you "need" to lose the weight for?

If you want to give it a try, more power to you, but I think you'll lose muscle, especially if the weight in your stats is serious.

Pretty much this. If you are willing to sacrifice losing muscle mass to lose weight, then yes it is possible. Probably not the healthiest thing in the world and there is a good chance that you will put the weight back on (fat, not the muscle you lost) once you decide to break your diet, which you more than likely will if you don't have the discipline to cut correctly.

    Robbie is right.

It is more than possible but you will lose muscle as well as fat... slow and steady wins the race but if you have a specific deadline to meet then you have to go drastic...

Lower your calories more, keep protein high to maintain as much muscle as possible, hit the weights hard with supersets, circuits etc... and high intensity interval cardio.

Be prepared to lose a good deal of muscle though my friend.

Your body doesn't care about your timeline or calendar.
Lose the weight too fast, and you won't like the results. Either muscle will fade away too, or you'll be very likely to put it on again just as fast. Just take it slow, and at least you'll be part way to your goal at that certain time you mentioned.
