I have been drinking a few cans of this a day due to being deployed and not being able to get good veggies in me very often. Is this stuff pretty good as an alternative

Salty, but otherwise source of vegetables, tastes good, low calorie, I love it and will accept the salt in my diet for a good low cal drink full of veggies.
Is it as good as some lightly steamed or raw vegetables, probably not, but I dont think you have to min-max to the fullest to be healthy or successful. Especially since you are deployed and its hard to otherwise get vegetables, its probably a great addition to your diet.

I actualy like it, but find it too filling. Even one little can and I'm no longer hungry.
If your looking for vitamins and minerals make sure you get 1 or 2 multi-vitamins with every meal. Plus add some B-complex to help protein absorption into the muscle. That will make sure your topping off your vitamin needs.

I love this stuff but, as others have said, it's pretty high in sodium.
Has anyone ever tried making their own V8? I'd love to get a recipe or something I can throw in a juicer if I ever get one"ohhhh, ok thanks. i thought it meant PIInuTButter since this is a body building website." - GuhleeMonAhnuld
