Maybe I'll try to get a video of myself doing bar Muscle-Ups. I'm all for bar Pull-Ups, but I'm more of a Gymnastics Rings kinda guy, so I focus my time on those instead. Much more difficult in every way.

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...fitness-rings/
(Sorry, forgot to include the link to the instructions in the original post. Stupid me.)
I have a pair of these, they are extremely easy to make and work perfectly well. I started doing gymnastics on top of my CrossFit training back in early December. I fell in love with it, so I made some of these rings that I can carry with me to use at home, traveling, or just anytime when my CF affiliate or Gymnastics gym are not available to me. You can head to Home Depot and get the supplies to make these for around $30.00, so it is a relatively cheap and great investment. I made them so that I can pretty much hang them anywhere and adjust the height, so there's really no place I can't use them. Make some, you won't regret it!
Or, if you just want to buy a legit pair, I'd personally go with Wooden rings, then plastic, then metal. Wooden rings just feel better to me, I seem to have a better grip with them. I can't really describe it, they just feel right to me. Plastic rings are absolutely perfect, I just prefer wooden. I'm not a huge fan of metal rings. Again, there's nothing blatantly wrong with them to me, except that I just think the former 2 feel better.Last edited by DCutch; 03-03-2010 at 07:40 PM.
