    I know he wants "three witness statements, video proof from at least two different angles--one camera must show whether the chin clears the bar with another camera showing that they arms were fully extended before the rep. After the rep we need the camera to record both the weight of the athlete and the extra weight he lifted."

    strong joists and screws.

    I would get a 48 inch gas pipe for the pullup bar, 3 feet isn't that wide.

    Muffler shop could tac weld the segments in place.

    1 inch wide FTW
    I'm using all 48 inches in this video and I feel like I could go wider.

    Contacted him and got a reply. The witness statements basically just have to say that they saw me complete the movement, right? Nothing fancy or anything like that? Excellent, thanks.

    He also stated that one camera is fine if "there's no question that your chin clears the bar". Still, just to be safe I'll have to find someone with another camera...

    if i were you i would do a practice video before the actual one and post it on here for a second opinion

    not saying your not doing it correctly, its just a lot of work to forget one thing and then it not get approved

    They need there contact information. comment that they saw your chin clear the bar and that you had no lower body movements aiding your lift one of the three witnesses has to specialist in physical fitness like a trainer or gym teacher.

    Right. I think I might wait another week as it is, and post a workout with +135x2 or something just to let you guys see it. I suppose I could stand to build my strength more, anyway. I'd hate to hype this up so much and then miss the lift, as you said.

    Son of a bish, I did 100 body weight pullups for time today to see if i could get under 10 minutes. I failed on the 98th rep so had to redo it, and ended up doing the 100 in 10:06. I stayed on track with my rep and rest plan all the way until that rep. Still a big improvement over my previous best of 12:21, and my form is a lot better than it was back then too. Hopefully I get it next time.

    Thanks, I thought I would crap out a lot sooner given the plan I had. I guess you were right about me being able to get under 10 (almost), even though I havent been doing that 100 for time workout lately.

    One guy got 15 reps, he wasnt facing the camera, although it looked pretty good. We need to get some more people entering. It would be sad if 10 reps won.

    i guess i can start spamming links to the competition again

    been trying to work on the site, thinkin of doing a complete more professional redesign with a forum and actually profile pages. idk its a lot of work and i hate having stuff messed up so it means i will be up for about 2 days fixing it

    I dont know if im making all that much progress lately. But hopefully its coming soon. I noticed that you (anyone) wont make any progress for what seems like 3 weeks then all of a sudden you will set like 4 PRs in a 3 day time frame.

    When s a good time to move from bodyweight pullups to weighted pullups? I mean I can do 10 bodyweight pullups pretty easy but not sure when to add some weight

    add some weight now start out with 15 lbs and see what you can get.
    Pullups Max reps: 40 reps

    ffffuuu I can do chin-ups pretty easily, but pull ups are a pain in the ass.

    Will make it a personal goal to be able to do 30 pull ups and get my place on the site.
