Wow. Those are some impressive numbers for 30 and 60 minutes. Those will be tough to beat, especially since GWR has been tightening up their pull up form judging. The 60 minutes record is an avg of 16.8 per minute for 60 minutes. I doubt that anyone with air tight form can beat that.
And Fitman, you do need a goal! What's of interest to you right now? Bodyweight pull ups, or weighted pull ups?

Bodyweight. I've thought about 30'. The current record is at 543 reps. As you said something impossible with clear form (I think). But I'm going to do a plan and try how many I can do. I think 400 is a good number. The worst part of this trainings is the hand skin health.

Got a rep this morning with 155 lbs attached. Want to get up to twice BW, and I currently weight about 167 lbs or so. Not quite the Extremist or Tinywrist numbers, but progress is being made.

You get it very soon!
I have lot work for that 30' personal record. I do not plan on breaking any record, just try to get my best number in 30'. First step is to achieve 200 in 15'. And step by step.. Another point is that I'm losing some weight, will try to get 81kg (178lbs).Extreme pull ups Crew

What do you guys think about this world records page https://recordsetter.com/ ? There you can see tons of Alicia Weber records, who have an awful pull up form. So I see there is not a "good/clear" criteria about pull up form. Probably less serious than GWR..

This is just a fraud from my point of view.
If you look pull ups records in recordholders.org also you see lot of crazy numbers and from a lot of these numbers do not exist any video in Internet. Some of the records are validated by GWR but you can't see the evidence.Extreme pull ups Crew

Trying to improve numbers in 15' (before going for the full 30'). Today is the 4th training for my purpose. The numbers look like:
- Minute 7'45 Rep 100
- Minute 10' Rep 130
- Minute 11' Rep 141
- Minute 11'50" Rep 150
- End of workout 183 reps 14'58".
I do fractions in a minute. Sometimes 3 series, sometimes 4 series in a minute. Today from rep 102 to above I've left the guide and started doing small series of 3,2,1. Not sure up to which point is better to control the reps or not. For example when you guys do 100 reps for time, usually start with a big serie and then do small ones. I think if the goal is not "only" 100 reps but 400 reps, I should control the pace little more.

Good question. I don't think I'll be in it, since they didn't contact me this year like they did last year. What about you, did they reach out to you? They'll likely include some pull ups though! Curious to see. And in regards to recordsetter or other websites like that, as I always say, if it's not a Guinness World Record, then it's not a world record. That Alicia Webber girl is definitely strong, so I'm not sure why she doesn't go for some of the female GWR records. I haven't seen her form in awhile, but maybe like you say, Fitman, it's not quite up to par.

Good work. That's an impressive workout. I also am curious as to what best pace would be for longer than 100 reps for time. Not really sure. Maybe sets of 3 off 10 seconds of rest. Coincidentally I tried 200 pull ups for time this morning and did 15:57. I was 6:57 for the first 100, then 9:00 for the last 100. I guess I averaged about 11 per minute doing sets of 1 for the second 100, which isn't bad, but certainly could be a lot better.

Thanks, buddy. It was pretty awesome. We actually did the attempt together at Prof's gym in Boston. We took turns, and it def helped to have each other there to push each other. If you ever come out to Boston again and are looking at an attempt, maybe we'll all do one together. Ha ha! That'd be epic. Even if we were all doing different attempts.

Very impressive and consistent pace. I've done a couple of 100 pull-up challenges for time and always blast away with a big first set and then do singles. But for 400 reps, I'm sure you're right that pacing matters more. I think there's a lot to be said for modeling pull-ups workouts like track workouts, especially if you are going for endurance. You would never train for a 5k race by running as hard as you could for the first minute and then hanging on as best you could while exhausted. So probably the same for a long-duration pull-ups test.

Can someone help me to find the most pull ups in 30 minutes record? I really thought that I saw it in GWR some time ago, but now I was trying to find it and it does not appear.
Anyway today I'm happy because I've reached 202 reps in 14'37".Extreme pull ups Crew

That workout did sets of 2 and some of 3 every 10". But again, I broke the pace throghout the workout. Lot work to be done and lot tempos to try.
I'm not sure that I am the best person to request a new record as my English is not the best and I think the person who ask for a new record has to put the guideline and rules.
The 30' record appears in recordholders.org, but they have a "new" rule that I don't like very much:
"The spacing of the hands shall not exceed 81 cm measured between the forefingers (for pull-ups)". What do you think?
Cooperrun and company, have you seen this new chin ups record? Most chin ups with 100lbs in 60sec. Markus Bondi did it: https://www.instagram.com/p/BJrgLb4AWur/?hl=esExtreme pull ups Crew

Impressive for Bondi. He's a beast. Marcus seems to like chin ups more than pull ups. I'm not so sure about the recordholders.org rules. I guess it could make sense to standardize a max width, but I don't know much about that organization.
And Fitman, your English is fine! If you do ever decide to create a 30 minute category within GWR, start here.
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/...rd/individual/
GWR also will translate to Spanish, German, Japanese or Chinese, in addition to English, of course. So if you prefer a different language, then switch it up! It only takes aabout 5-10 minutes to create a new record attempt.Sig line can't be a novel

Bondi's chin-ups are very impressive. And super inspiring that he's setting records at age 49. I'd like to see the full video. Have you come across it?
I agree, Fitman. That new rule for recordholders.com is super annoying not quite fair, in my mind. It disadvantages taller guys whose grip will naturally be wider, even if the arm angle is the same as a shorter guy who is way under the 81cm. If judges want to standardize grip width, I think the only fair way to do it is to establish some angle, such as 90 degrees at the elbow when the chin is over the bar. Way to go with the 14:37 time for 200 reps! That's blazing. Keep it up!Sig line can't be a novel
