Start it more off the heel of the club then. Easiest fix known to man lol. I have that problems many times and it always is just alittle setup issue for me.

there are pleny of joint supps... but as mentioned diet is key...

also managing your time well for your training is key...

as far as lifting heavy or not... it all depends on where you are and what your strengths and weaknesses are... i have no idea how heavy etc.. how strong... none of us do... whether there are imbalances etc...

ahh they are very different shafts...

the retails play very soft to flex... the tour issue for what they are extra are far better shafts... the tour issue come in varying weights and tip stiffness so can be tailored to get the right shaft...

having said that the guy hasnt got back to me with a price so may not be getitng one...

Tours are nice. Pretty clean looking at address. Got the juiced up lofts that most companies have with their GI irons these days. Good club though, if you're just starting consider getting the non-tours in the 3-4 irons.

taking baby steps to make my swing less flat. Stig & Pat could definitely vouch that my swing is very flat lol.

Also, made the best par of my life last night. #5 380 yard par 4, water in front of the tee box and short right of the green running all the way up the right side of the green, OB left. Pin back right kind of tucked away.
Duffed my drive into the hazard in front of the tee box, dropped behind the hazard at least 300 to the stick. Got a good lie on the drop so figured I'd hack 3 wood out. Group in front of us was still putting but I figured there was no way I'd reach. Smoked it towards the edge of the next hazard, takes a HUGE hop (I'm thinking it hit the cement that separates the hazard from the course) somehow rides the slope of the green all the way to the back right edge, sink downhill 10 footer for 4. My cousin was sh!tting his pants as he made bogey from 80yds out in the center of the fairway lol

I actually tried both the other day and was hitting the Tours much better. Lower arc, better distance...everything about them just felt smoother. That weighted head felt fantastic all the way from address to finish and I dunno...they just felt "right". (This was after trying the R9's and the Nike equivalent).

Note: In case you didn't know, my clubs were stolen lately and I'm getting all new stuff, paid for by my insurance.

Pretty nice clubs. Personally, not a fan of the graphics but as long as you hit them good...

retief won shinnecock at -4. I have a feeling that's where most of the top of the field's gonna be with the exception of Rory if he keeps going off

Just played a quick round at the local muni.

Scores are starting to drop. Doubles are almost out of my game and turning to bogeys, bogeys turning to pars and my putting is almost on point where I'll start dropping a couple birdie putts a round.

I just need to work on my short game more than I do.

well this is what i just posted about my C tapers on the C taper thread on golfwrx...

Well thats me used my clubs and C tapers for 6th time since i got them on monday... so far i can say - certainly the best combo i have ever had... mainly in comparison to MP29s with X100...

distance - i would say i am about 10 yards further with every club - 165 yard 9 iron... 178 8 iron... 241 yard 4 iron... the distances are for good shots with no wind .. rare here but playing in the evening after 7 the wind drops...

Dispersion - going from standard lie clubs to fitted 2 degree up... posture has changed slightly and been pulling the ball especially short irons... but still happy and tonight i was hitting the ball straight on the range after playing 9 holes with only 2 pulls... so getting used to the new lie angles and posture... will be for the better in the long run...

Spin - noticing nothing different on balls hitting the green compared to my X100 using TP red balls... feel no loss of control...

Launch - similar to my x100 launch angle but seem to just go longer in the air... hi very few full shots into the wind... been over 25mph at times and still only had one PW balloon on me...

feel - love it... had kbs tours in my SW and LW and loved the feel... so different to X100 but so much better - feel softer then X100 but are not... friends who have hit them feel the same... best feeling shafts i have ever used but the soft heads must also help!!!

Sounds like a winning combo to me.

KBS feel but with more distance. 165 yd 9 iron is pretty absurd...I only put mine 155 and my driver SS is 115.

do they kick the same as the kbs, ballooners for me

having said that the guy hasnt got back to me with a price so may not be getitng one...
the tour issues arent actually "tour issued". the only difference is like you say you can pick your weight and the tip stiffness varies. the retails are in fact one of the tour issue models. unless you are dead set about playing a 75g+ shaft, it's going to be very similar to the retail. you can always tip it an inch or inch and a half. Mine doesn't play soft at all, smooth shaft with a great kick but if you don't have some smooth tempo you wont be seeing good results.

im sure youll be able to find a decent pull on wrx, if i had 300$ burning a hole in my pocket i would buy a thump
