I only got to hit balls once over Spring Break. Weather was sh*tty It took me a while to get going but I ended up hitting the ball ok. I was hitting my drives pretty well, but the damn high kick point on my driver had me launching it way too high. Then I went to putt and realized they had punched and sanded the greens the day before

Hit range balls all week and just couldnt find my tee stroke. Probably getting new clubs later this year anyway, these old hand-me-down taylormade's just aren't cutting it anymore as much as I love them though. Can anyone recommend some in the game-improvement or super-game improvement?

I would love to have those stats haha. I went to the range earlier (haven't hit in a year), the grass area was packed so I had to hit off the mats. Got my 50,75,100 wedge shots down pretty good. Hit about 20 in a row within 5 ft. of 50 yds.
Hit the 3 and 4 hyrids pretty good, 3 around 210, 4 around 190 (good for me atleast). Was very accurate with my 8 around 145-150. Driver started off ok, hitting around 230-240 dead straight. As I got tired, it went to crap though. Overall I would say it was a good first time at the range this year.
Current bag:
TaylorMade r5 driver
Adams Golf os2 irons
Tom Watson wedges (L,S,G) (Great deal for 3 wedges, $99, if you play casually)
Odyssey flat putter
I have never had a fitted set of clubs or decent grips. I'm thinking that would help a ton. Could I get my current clubs fitted? If so, what would a decent price for that be?-----------------

yes. you can have your clubs bent, reshafted, lengthened, shortened, whatever you may need to fit them to you personally.
As far as the price, bending clubs is really cheap. an entire set should only cost between 50 and 100. just make sure if you get them bent you take them to someone qualified to do the work. for lengthening you can find shaft extensions, again pretty cheap, to shorten, irons can simply be cut. Now if you need different shafts, it can become quite expensive.

Gonna be 58* tomorrow in RI. Looks like St. Paddy's day will be my opening day. I got my green polo and Celtics cap ready. I think I'm going to load up with some extra balls and just take my odd # irons to lighten up the bag. Can dump 60* too since it'll still be plenty wet. Walking 18 after squat day, lol. Plus choking down and firing some sawed off knockdowns is better for my striking when I'm rusty.

Played this past weekend and my driver left me. I started out good and it went to sh*t in a hurry(slicing), so I put it away and used my 3W off the tees. Hit my irons decent though.

Played St. Paddy's day and had a good time. Not as bad as I thought I'd be after not swinging a club since Oct.. I didn't bother to keep score but had to be fairly close to breaking 90, lol.
Still contemplating getting a few lessons. Probably will do that before I bother to get any new clubs. Basically just need to sort out the back and forth pull/block misses that will plague me for a few holes usually. Striking was halfway decent, short irons/wedges really good and just need some dialing in. Chipping/putting needs feel to come back but can't really complain. Knocked in everything inside 3 1/2-4ft. like automatic. I had stretches last year where that was a real big issue and prevented me from going sub-80 many times.
