Besides jogging, does anyone know of an efficient way to keep the stomach fat to a minimum?
Thanks.

Not necesaszarily true. The hormone cortisol causes the accumlation of bodyfat in the abdominal area. Controlling cortisol can spot reduce fat in the stomach and glut area. This is why alot of people dont seem fat all over yet have guts and big asses, because alot of people have to much stress and thus to much cortisol.

Err...you don't. It's a circadian hormone which rises in the morning and falls when you're about to sleep. Unless you have hormonal disorders, you don't control it (well you can take cortisol under the counter if you want, but if it is not controlled properly, you're going to be screwed)
moral of the story = don't mess with the hormonez

No.
Your going to lose muscle and strength if you go below your calorie maintenance. The amount of muscle lost will vary on how long you diet for and the lower your calorie intake is.
Your not going to lose weight if you eat to many calories but if you don't eat enough, your muscles will turn catabolic.
This is where no-carb diets come into play. Read up on those.

Read what i put.
i said doing HIIT wont 'burn' muscle...
ofc being on a diet lacking carbohydrates will result in u becoming weaker... doesnt mean muscle mass is lost. less carbs simply means glycogen storage isnt as readily available because ur intake of it is less
u might ask where my knowledge of this situation comes from?
i had this exact argument with my sport science tutor - i thought muscle was 'burnt' too ! but it isnt. it only happens in starvation periods. as long as u recover properly from doing both HIIT and low intensity ul be fine
all these myths come from people like urself.
do u think when u FIRST start off u gain LOADS of muscle resulting in strength gains? theres alot more than just muscle hypertrophy occuring
within the first 6-8 weeks the neuromuscular system is trained predominantly - this why is strength goes thru the roof !"Do what you love - fcuk the haters as they can only dream of your reality" Eryk Bui
