Has anyone ever seen this guy...15 months of training and his body is beyond belief talk about hard work and genetics

he is in the flex mag and he is on Team Universe

there were some awesome shots of him on graphic muscle after his Team U win...those are the only pics I've seen.

the most interesting thing to me, was that he did not look impressive AT ALL in clothes. i saw some candid pictures of him and I didn't think he was even a competitor...didn't know why they were taking and posting pics of him.

then i saw his stage shots. wow.

only 15 months of training, though? i'd have to call shenanigans on that one. if it's true...he could possibly be the most genetically gifted bodybuilder on the planet.

Is it just me or do his calves are totally out of proportion?

My good friend and training partner. He started working at the gym just under 2 years ago and he weighed 190 but looked like 220. Phenomenal genetics!! He showed me pictures of himself in high school holding a shot put and his bicep dwarfed it!!! He is currently training to compete at Czech Republic and his future pro show of choice will be the Shawn Ray Classic. Currently we're tryin to bring his back together to match his physique. The kid is seriously an easy gainer and I think weighs in now at 233lbs. with about 8% bodyfat. And yes his calves are massive, so much so that his legs need to be brought up and they're already measuring at 28 inches.

All natural? Eats candy and fast food and rarely not more than 2 meals per day? Less than 100 grams of protein per day? Been training for 2 years and is 5'9 235 in near contest shape eating whatever?

But what I really don't understand...why knowingly do everything wrong when it could be done right and he could possibly be a super freak of nature? He nearly qualified for the Olympics boxing. I bet he practiced and had a trainer.

I'm just curious to know what anyone else thought of the article.

wow, great physique, I don't know if it's the angle but his right quad seems a lot smaller than his left. I do think the calves are a GOOD thing, I guess commenting that they look too big just shows how deficient most guys are in that department.

All in all great physique BUT... to my eye... something from the knee down throws his leg off. Not just the calf but... i dunno... it's just look "blah". Lemme try to figure it out...

His calves are in proportion, IMO. But compared to the majority of today's pros with relatively weak calves, yes his are out of proportion.

were you referring to the weigh-in photos as the candid ones? maybe he just wears baggy clothing. that can diminish the presence of largeness pretty well

My whole point though is still that he diets on 2 meals of fast food/candy/whatever and looks like that. Infact looks like that plus 15 pounds more muscle now.

I won't say that he isn't natural, but I will say that the Team Universe is not very strict in terms of drug restriction. I know of at least one competitor that used hormonal substances within a year or two of the show.

"I never eat clean," Michael told me with a laugh, when I asked him about his diet, or as it turned out lack thereof. He eats Twizzlers, Kentucky Fried Chicken, drinks regular soda )he doesn't even bother to go with diet soda), and goes to any type of fast food joint that's convenient. Yet he stays lean without any cardio (though he does visit a nearby boxing gym to maintain his skills by sparring and work on the heavy and speed bags).

The most mind-blowing facts about Lockett's diet are that he rarely eats more than twice a day, and his protein intake is only 20 percent of what the average bodybuilder over 200 pounds take in every day. Consider that he had only been working out with weights for 18 months before winning the Team Universe. He also tested negative 3 times in a 12 month period and passed all three polygraph. They also say he was 5'9 193 and shredded the first time he stepped in the gym at 22.

lol, you see, that's why I stated, "I won't say that he isn't natural." I didn't know the full story. Some crazy genetics.

He needs to get serious and take it far!
