Results With ON Hydrowhey VS. ON Gold standard 100% whey.

If a person would strength train for 3-4 months, disregarding all other factors. How much better results would one see using the more expensive Hydrowhey. Would the gains justify the cost for an average person?

I like this product... great post workout after using IntrAbolic intra and Ultima pre-workout... even half scoop adds a nice boost of 15g hydro whey along with extra micronized free form BCAA's... it is a quality carefully processed whey isolate without much of the other crap in inferior whey and other proteins... very low or no oxidized cholesterol as well which you will likely find in many other whey and other proteins.

Short term the gains might not be much, but longer term is what I look at and health and muscle wise, I think it is worth it over a cheaper mixed whey or other protein product... I also like Allmax Isoflex, Cytofuse and UP.2.0. from XF. All very good stuff worth the extra cost.

Just to add, 'high quality' and 'hydrolized' are two different things.

There are high quality types of hydro whey, whey isolate, whey concentrate, egg, casien, soy, etc.

Its just a matter of picking which type you want to use for different situations. All have strengths and weaknesses.

I disagree with Peter on this stuff a bit. I personally am not a fan. But I will agree it's "cleaner" than many other proteins out there, so if you really want a clean protein and will pay more for your long term health than it's not a bad choice. I'd prefer all the other proteins he mentioned though personally.

But to specifically answer your question, you will likely not notice any difference at all in gains. Don't think they ever claim you will either.

    Disagreements are ok!

I think most can appreciate the facts though: quality non-denatured whey isolate and purity, likely faster absorption as well as added free form (also faster absorption) micronized BCAA's which many add in at extra cost during the day. 30g per scoop of this quality protein to go with 9g BCAA's is pretty potent and it should be obvious why is costs more than many cheaper and popular proteins around. I am sure it costs more to manufacture. Gains wise, it is impossible to prove without quality legitimate studies which products would be superior, but I like the chances personally.

I know this is old but...

First post on the forums, I've taken both gold and platinum whey and as a point I prefer the hydro whey, I do low carb dieting and strength training so its a help for me to get the leaner protein. The taste is great, I bought chocolate mint and I mix it with water, which isn't bad per say but it's exponentially better with milk. I just bought red velvet cake and I'm personally stoked to try it. As far as results I do feel like I recover faster and it certainly doesn't stay on the stomach as long. I have no phd nor do I claim to but I remember reading your stomach struggles to digest more than one kind of a protein at a time, so I can only unfoundedly assume that by not mixing it with milk it speeds up digestion of it. I'm guessing. Please correct me where I'm wrong I like to learn where I can.
