failing and im working my arse off

alright so right now id say im about in the 205-210. my sophmore year or so in high school i started lifting to get back in shape. by the end of my senior and having lifted my ass off and being extremely dedicated i managed to get my upper body in good shape and dropped down to 210. but then i was at home and could eat all the fish and chicken i wanted. the problem is now im in college and i cant seem to get where i want with only a microwave and terrible food in the cafateria. i tried doing the low carb thing but some days i would go to the caf and all they would have is food full of carbs, theyd have chicken but its fried ect.
so id be left eating a salad and deli turkey. i quit that real quick when my lifting started to suffer from the calorie deficit as well as the bad eating in general. im really desperate to get my core in shape and it pisses me off cause i work harder than any person i know and i just cant seem to get it done. im golden if i have a cut off on but as soon as the shirt comes off theres my downfall i ride ten miles on the bike after i lift and everything. so any input i would really appreciate it.
    thanks in advance

Your problem is that you THINK you work harder than anyone else. If it were true your hard work would pay off. Dieting is work too. Stop lying to yourself and get it together. Get your diet in line and keep training and you will see great results over time. If you're really desperate like you say you are then you'll obtain the body of your dreams and that's all there is to it.
"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

well thats the problem. its not very easy to eat a clean diet with the food that i am given. if i was able to get good food eating it wouldnt be a problem. like i said i had my diet in check back home i just cant do it right up here.

This, but also - not everyone has to work as hard toward a particular goal. We all have different strengths and weaknesses and it may just be that the OP just does have to work harder. Deal with it or change your goals - I don't see what other options you have.

Just because you have "poor" options for food with high calorie content doesn't mean you're forced to finishing every bowl of porridge and eat every pea in the pod

Just try to make sure you're getting enough protein in and yea...I'm not a fan of the hunger or endless thoughts about food but it may be a part of the game and it sounds like it is for you, not everyone struggles with it too badly, I manage much better these days than when I first started extreme dieting that's for sure.

2nd semester fresh year I put on a good 30lbs, but I also put on a good 100lbs on bench

it is possible, get grilled chicken, salad, tuna, sometimes pizza for a cheat.

College is bulking heaven, or get off the food plan and get a george foreman/toaster oven like I have and cut to all hell

Yeah, pal. Just buy in bulk a bunch of things like tuna, peanut butter, chicken breast, etc. Make yourself a pantry in your dorm. I did that at the start of the second semester and since then have lost 35lbs (don't go by my current avi, it's really old). It's great, though. The best part is that you can buy foods that are delicious and good for you instead of being fed foods that are sub-par flavor-wise and horrible for you.

The Foreman Grill idea is also fantastic. I love mine. =) It's a good investment. This way, you're not restricted to microwavable things.
