    Over-under hand grip with straps?

    it's not necessary anymore right? i don't wanna look like a noob in the gym lol. i need them for deadlifts

    just wanted to make sure. since the straps are basically supposed help your grip i just assumed i didn't need to do the over-under hand grip anymore

    anyone that's older have any input? no offense but idk if i wanna take the advice of a 14 year old lol

    nahh i heard it throws off your balance.. people use the oover-under when they dont have straps.

    you are right in assuming its unnecessary, I have never had a problem holding any weight with Double overhand w/ straps despite having a weak grip

    If you're using an over-under hand grip then there's no need for straps. Only use them with double-over hand.

    Its not necessary. I hold 315 with semi-loose straps and without gripping the bar hard either. Theres pretty much no limits with double-overhand+straps.
