Haven't been on much the at couple days. Spent some time the last couple days, checking in on friends and church members who had close brushes with the tornado that went through here Thursday. Man did we get lucky, and have some good disaster plans that actually got carried out correctly.

AF, it looks like you've used your space pretty well. Have u thought about the Rogue horizontal bar holder? That would go great there.
If God had wanted us to be weak, He wouldn't have given us iron.

i wondered about that but forgot to ask. i'm glad to hear that you are alright.
i meant to say thanks in my other post. that's why i don't like posting here from my phone. anyway, i ended up a little better off than i thought as far as space, it worked better when i was setting it up than when i tried to figure it out by measurements. my deadlift spot isn't as roomy as i'm used to, but it'll work.
i am getting a rackable trap bar, ordered and paid for it today. i'm getting it from black widow training gear (i can post their ******** page if anyone is interested), or just search for them. i think i'll donate my old one to the powerlifting team, one of the guys likes it."If there must be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace." -Thomas Paine

After a few days, I really like my phone. The battery life is terrible though. I'm going to see about my options for changing to a maxx tomorrow. I'm not sure I'll do it though, depends on the overall cost. If i'm going to stick with a phone for a couple of years though, I need to be happy with it.
Did you see the pics of my accessory wall? I was able to free up a lot of space and it looks pretty good.
Wow, 175 plus shipping for a rackable trap bar? After you review it, if it's nice, you may get them a lot of business. that's the best price I've seen rackable trap bar.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪

rickshaw? trap bar will be better to work deadlifts with, from different heights. the rickshaw is pretty high, good for shrugs and carries though.
i can't remember, i'll have to look for them. or you could repost it for me?

I guess it would partially depend on the "luck" of where the t-bolt fastener "lands" in position on the final "tighten." Someone sent me a message (I think from here), but it was kind of garbled, but I remember it said something about a design change idea they had. I should try to find it. Maybe it had something to do with an "outside" micro-loading plate, but I can't remember for sure now.

AF,
Your new space looks pretty well organized and def well equipped. I downsized a little to get a kick bag and a 46 flatscreen in the garage so my daughter can practice TKD. I also added a big slot car track that lowers from pulleys so we can use the garage as a play room too. My legpress and lying leg curl payed for it.[]--[]Equipment Crew #33[]--[]

Finally got my knee and elbow sleeves in from EFS. Those are some seriously thick sleeves. They make the adjustable Inzers look wimpy.

I wonder. I doubt he'll get them. 1). He's already got six full 255-lb sets of Yorks in pounds, with another 2 full sets of Yorks in kilos (and a third coming this summer). 2). The cl vultures have probably already swooped down on this deal. There appears to be nothing remarkable about the plates. The bar may be interesting.
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Sorinex just posted this video on their ******** page with the caption "and soon new strength equipment". Might be a chance to pick up some York equipment if Penn State is going to be selling off the old stuff.

I just noticed that they had York plates and bars and just assumed the rest was as well. I didn't really pay that much attention to racks. Either way they they might be available. If anyone finds out for sure let us know. I'm just curious but others might be in the market for equipment.

I keep them spread through out the house in case I really feel the urge and just don't have time to make it to the basement. LOL
Actually, they are all stored in a section of the basement since I don't have room to set them up yet. Purchased with the intention of eventually opening up a personal training studio.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #39 ▪█─────█▪

Not quite as humorous as my reading, but pretty cool. Are you still shooting for the studio? If I could be semi-retired, my dream would be to open a black iron gym. I'd go old school on the plates, of course, and I would do it to get out of the house and lift weights. As long as the expenses were covered, I wouldn't mind.

Mine are the Super Heavy. They came in on Friday and I tried for several hours and could only get them about a half inch above my elbow. When I bent my arm, my elbow would come out from under them. On Friday with my wife's help, I got them on for a max effort bench attempt. After i laid down on the bench I yelled at her to hurry and give me a lift off because my hands were already starting to tingle and minor numbness was already setting in. I want them to be tight, I would just like to be able to wear them for more than 1 set without having to take them off since they are so hard to get on. I'd also like to be able to put them on without any help. I tried turning them wrong side out and then trying to flip them to get them on, but they were too tight.
