Not feeling dead tired after workout

Well usually I feel really tired after lift and I feel like I've had a good workout, but recently I havn't felt that way except on leg day. Today I worked chest and tris, but I don't really feel like I hit them well. This is what I did:

    Day 1: Chest/Tris
    Bench x 12, 10, 8, 6, 4
    Incline DB 3x8-10
    Pec Dec 3x8-10
    Close Grip Bench 3x8-10
    Skullcrushers 3x8-10
    Weighted Dips (Chest/Vertical) 3xFailure

I lifted decent weights for most of them except for close grip because I was already shot from regular benches earlier. I think I might change close grip to overhead presses. Anyways, I cant seem to figure out if Im not working out intense enough, if I'm not lifting heavy enough, or if I'm taking too long breaks between sets.

Overall, I guess I'm asking two questions: What am I doing wrong in my workouts (not feeling tired), and is there anything I should change about my chest/tri routine? Any advice is appreciated

Get an hardcore training partner and your only rest shall be when he pumps up the weight.

i had the same exact problem. You just got to vary up your workout now. like try just doing 5 reps for all of your exercises. You see the reason you don't feel like your hitting them well is because your muscels are getting used to the exercise.

Ya I thought that was the problem before but I just started this routine and today was my first chest/tri day

@charley33 I used to lift with my roommate but he's taking a break from lifting for a while to focus on school. Should I try keeping a strict 30second break between each set?

Well its not really a rule of time, It more the fact of willing to feel the pain ! You gotta push yourself to push the weight even if you don't feel you rested enough

    chest day example
do anything you can to get the burn. If you don't feel it after a set. Try doing 10 push-ups. Then go back and do your second set. Then try to do 10 db flys. Alternate a middle exercise. It really burns bad at the end.

    Here an example.

Do this mean tri-set to start your leg workout

Ass to Grass squat on smith machine 10-10-10-8-6 Rep
    Leg Curl 10-10-10-8-8 rep
    Walking Lunge 10-10-10-10-10 rep

Increasing the weight on squat and leg curl on each trisets.

No big rest between each trisets. (1min max)

If you do it properly, the first time you try this, you'll puke. I puked for two week when my trainer made me do it, and everybody who has done it with us/me puked as well.

    INTENSITY INSANITY.
