Im a pipefitter 50hours a week, i do alot of heavy lifting..lifting 120pound weld fittings all day, throwing pipe on my shoulder...And i workout about 5days a week.. Anything i can do to help speed up recovery after my workouts and prevent from my job to 'stunt' my muscle group.

Just keep piling in the calories, im guessing you need 5-6000 a day am i right? Get in the good foods, some L glutamine.. ect. thats all you can really do for now.

Yeah when i did heavy brick laboring work with my mates dad a while back i was working like 45hours a weeks with lifting bricks all day with 1 half hour break..i was eating 5,500 cals a day. It seriously is hard faukin work but i trained less during the week because it was hard to recover also..
I had some L glutamine i thought this helped me so you might want to give it a try or something like this..
try taking some cold baths if you have time..
try getting massages, this can help allieviate DOMS>
Just keep gettin in the carbs maybe more food if you can..~~~~~~~~~~

sounds brutally hard.... as above i would up calories...
have meal-replacement/weight gain shakes, I like BSN truemass and gaspari realmass... both are expensive though, can find cheaper ones...
also, i bet you can get away with a fast food meal over lunch, such as a wendy burger, to help keep your calories up! (just no fries or pop)
