Whey Protein powder with coke zero???

I just bought natural whey protein powder, no flavouring at all. It tastes horrible when mixed with water.

I just tried to blend it with coke zero, it mixes well and it goes down alot better than water. Just wondering if this is ok. Im on a cut as well.

That sounds horrible, but if you can stomach it and it doesn't replace your water. Just put it on oatmeal or yogurt or something.

I just put the natural whey and coke zero together and blend with spoon or fork. A bit lumpy, tastes ok, (much better than with water since after every gulp, it leaves a vomit-like after taste).

one trick i had with protein powder that was ****ty tasting was to add a tbsp of cinnamon. **** masked the taste real quick

I've had ON's Vanilla Chai with diet cola before. Other than with that flavor, I wouldn't recommend it, simply on a taste basis. Whatever works for you, I guess.

Sounds terrible. Goggle "Protein Flavor Packs" and you will find better options than soda

have you tried mixing it with milk instead? how about mixing it with water and adding a small amount of peanut butter? using coke zero sounds terrible.

it'll be gross but then you get use to it and just down them.

i use the natural unflavored myself. one banana blended with it makes it taste great. or, you can do what i mostly do which is i buy the powdered gatorade and mix a bit of that in (it's dextrose, potassium, etc...). it tastes great with some of that gatorade powder and it's great for a PWO replacement of sodium/electrolytes, especially if you've just done an HIIT cardio sesh PWO.

I have a tub of unflavored whey as well, I toss it into anything savory (vs sweet).

Dips, pasta sauces, salad dressing, eggs/omelets...basically any liquid that isn't sweet.

You'll never know it's there, and boost the nutrition of whatever youre eating.
