Yes, serious. We finally have a thread where we can talk about all the dumb crap we end up derailing threads with. I talked to forge and so far these are the ground rules we came up with.

Thanks Blindead, I tried to make a chat thread a few months ago but it backfired and I just deleted it.

I kinda just follow my own routine. I HATE doing legs but I do it once a week to stay proportional. You know, deadlifts, squats, etc.. I usually do 2 upperbody workouts in a row and then 1 leg workout. My chest and arms aren't sore anymore, just trying to finalize what excercises And muscle groups I want to hit tonight before I get to the gym.

Yeah, I don't have muscle groups that correspond to particular days of the week either. I just have arm/shoulder day, leg day, back day, and chest day and I basically do what I want to do on a particular day as long as the muscles have had time to recover. Ab and cardio stuff is mixed in to taste.

don't you think that's just a little much to do all at once?
granted I personally enjoy high volume myself but when I was lifting more conventionally I try to only do two things a day, chest/back biceps/triceps shoulders/legs. And then I'd repeat that.

Chest is my favorite group to workout. If Im doing upperbody, I can't leave without doing some bench, which has increased dramatically since I started working out. When I got regular in the gym again, my 5 rep max on bench was 95 and I've increased to 150 for 5 reps on flat bench and 160 for 5 reps on decline bench.

That's how I train right now because I can't handle any heavy weight or volume. I just hope that some light high rep stuff as a semi-full routine is decent rehab. I haven't been making any headway but going back to a bodypart split just aggravated my tendinitis. I've kept off my right knee for months and it still doesn't feel any better. I have the worst injuries.

I used to work out more upper body like that, I have concentrated heavily on lower body and back for about six months. My arm isolation and chest lifts have kinda plateaued, but I feel a lot stronger overall. I have gotten some sick forearm gains from tire flipping, best grip workout I never intended to get.
Anyone else take fish oil to reduce inflammation after lifting? Been trying that lately and feel like it is working for me.Disciple of the tire flip and Utilikilt.

I take fish oil, flax oil, bromelaine, circumin, glucosamine, chondroitin, boswellia resin extract and NSAIDs for my joints.
Not working all that great so far lulz.I want to touch the butt.
