I am wondering because I plan on buying some nolvadex and it is called tamoxifen. I have read that i needed to get tamoxifen citrate though....any suggestions. Thanks

You could get away with it but I'd suggest adding something else in with the nolva or upping the dose to be safe. These recommendations are just from what I've heard, Ive never run PPlex so I can't say for sure but I will recommend this thread The Pheraplex Cheat Sheet since it might have a better discussion of what will help you make your decision.

You need to taper it. 20/20/10/10 is fine. Also, if the label on Tamoxifen Citrate says 20mg, it means 20mg of Tamoxifen (for Pharma grade), which equals like 30.2 mg of Tamoxifen Citrate. Any generic pharma grade tamox will always list the amount of active rather than the amount of the salt. Research chems, however, often do not. They will try and trick you sometimes, so if you go with RC, you need to read the label carefully.
