    In season workouts?

How are you supposed to lift during in season of a sport? I've read in some places once or twice a week for maintenance. What would the workout look like?

yeah train for maintenance. Which sport are you talking about and what is your current routine? Just make sure you give priority to the sport over the lifting.

I'm a tennis player, but I've still been basically on a bulking program until now. I was thinking maybe do chest/tri/shoulders 1 day and back/bi/legs another for a 2 day a week maintenance program? Not sure...

well i am not too familiar with tennis, but i would venture to say not to have a schedule set in stone and to organize it based around when you have matches. Only you know how your body recovers, so just make sure you give your body enough time to recover.

I was going to train for maintenance for soccer, but my schedule was so crazy that i never had the time. I was planning on doing about 65-80% of my 5RM for higher sets, but that's because i really needed to keep fresh and had some injuries.

What were you thinking as far as exercise choice goes?
