There are so many on the market.... which ones are the best? Mitotropin and Cytolean.. has any body used these and how do you rate them?
I am at 16.7% body fat, 128 pounds, 5'5.... aiming for 8 to 9% body fat. Increased cardio and changed program a bit to get body to react better... but if there are any supplements that there that are recommended I would greatly appreciate the feedback!

Why would you want to be 8-9% BF?? That is really unhealthy/unsafe. 10-12% is the "essential fat" range for women (the lowest you should go). And really unless you are training for a competition, I wouldn't go that low. Most women ideally want to stay in the 14-20% zone for the "athlete" range.

The majority of fat burners are pretty rubbish. Ingredients well proven to assist in fat loss as yohimbine and ephedrine so i wouldn't waste my time with anything that doesn't contain at least one of those ingredients.

If truly want something that burns fat an ECA stack is your best option. However fat burners while I do not believe actually burn fat themselves can still help you lose weight. They help with controlling appetite, they will help keep your energy levels up while dieting down and that extra energy can help during workouts. Also they help shed some water weight. The will boost your metabolism slightly but I think there true benefits are in the other things I mentioned.
I've had the best results with Lipo 6. The original formula not the her's version.

Hot Rox Extreme is a VERY powerful fat burner...it will ramp up your metabolism. Do not overdose on this one, as it kept me awake for a full night when taken around 7pm.
Creadyl stacked with NO Beta is another great energy-enhancement supplement. When taking this supplement, I don't need another fat burner for my contest prep.

Can I come visit you in the Bahamas? It's been snowing here since Sept. Love the snow, but wouldn't turn down a week a warm weather either...lol!

Fat Burner Combo..
What I'm using to lean down for the 2010 USA's is Cellucor's T7 and D4 Thermalshock it's heavy on the stims but it's working great for me. This week I lost 3 pounds... it's been steady like that for a while. I take these for a month then switch out to a non stimulant fat burner for a week before repeating it.

Hey ladies! I'm new around here and new to supplements. I'm looking for a body fat burner as well, but am also wondering about other supplements. As a beginner, what should I start with? I have protein powder and will start taking CLA, fish oil and a fat burner (probably Lipo 6) but am I missing anything else? I'm not looking to get to competition level, but definitely want to be nice and lean with muscle definition.
Right now I'm 5'11, 210lbs, and soft.
Also, how do I start a new thread so I'm not piggy-backing on someone else's?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I just started using Oxyelite Pro and I love it. Been taking it for about 10 days and so far I do just fine with only one in the morning before breakfast. I'm really stoked on my progress in the last two weeks, and although I'd definitely chalk it up more the hard work and a calorie deficit I'd have to say I think its worth the buy (especially since the cost per serving is low), placebo effect or not.
Mind over matter. If you don't mind, it won't matter.

Is a fat burner something you can take long term or is it just a temporary supplement for additional fat loss in regards to contest prep? I was taking thermal shock and then stopped simply because I felt that since I wasn't prepping for a contest, just trying to be as lean as possible, that it wasn't necceasary in my supplementation.. Thoughts?

Best fat burners for women
Hey y'all-
Ive tried
Hydroxycut HC
Lipo 6x
Lipo 6 black
SAN Tight Xtreme
I'd have to say that ironically lipo 6 black did nothing for me. Hydroxycut results were minimal, but had headaches! SAN was probably the best so far, but keep in mind that you can really feel the thermogenic effects from the moment you swallow the pill haha.
I lost a good amount of weight fast, and now I have some extra skin. Also I'm not getting the butt muscle mass that I'd hope for yet. I'm working out a lot, but do any of you have suggestions??
Hope my supp advice helped
Xx

for the people that have used OEP that took one in the morning, did you then take a preworkout supp in the arvo? or just more OEP or neither.
edit: need to mention I workout after work so thats really the only reason Id want to take it again in the arvo's. I dont workout in the mornings.Last edited by ozziefitchick; 05-23-2012 at 05:53 PM.

Fat burners
I've been doing weight training for over 3 months now- before I was working out at home-Insanity, p90x and more. My body fat isn't going down no matter what I do, I'm at a stage where my body is just not changing. I workout 2 hrs at day 5-6 days at week, I don't eat out or junk food, i take CLA for FB and nothing. I do have a few glasses if wine every now and then.
Any recommendations? I've tried some FB before but they make my hair fall out.
Help please
