    Losing Fat around the Midsetion

Everyday I watch these infomercials on TV and see all these success stories and all these before and after photos (12 weeks.) I am on a 12 week fat loss program myself but do not take any fat burners because I have a high metabolism already. I have noticed through the program i'm on, quite a big drop in bodyfat while maintaining my weight so it does work (proper nutrition with proper weight and Interval training). I am starting to see some definition everywhere (arms, shoulders, chest, back, legs) but my stomach. I do see a little 4 pack but my love handles and lower abs just seem to linger. I'm currently at 14% bodyfat and do Interval Cardio i just don't see 12 weeks as a possibility to have a six pack like some of these informercials claim, I more inclined to believe 6 months than 12 weeks. Is it just normal for men to lose their midsection slower? I am trying to get some advice from people who have done these infomercial programs and does it really work and if fat burning supplmentations are involved and honestly say it did take 12 weeks and not 16 weeks or 6 months.

There is no magic pill that removes belly fat. Belly fat is the last fat that comes off. I have lost close to 100lb and I look lean every where except for my mid section. Another 20lb reduction should clean that area up good.

    x2 on second poster.

Those 12 week programs may work if you are already at a certain body composition. If you start at 13% bf, I am sure 3 months of diet and training will get you a 6 pack, assuming you have muscle mass to begin with.

What was your bf % when you started?

The last part is the hardest.. Me, I am currently cutting and finally hit sub 10%, it just takes time and consistency. Keep the protein up, and keep training, you'll get there!

When I started 8 weeks ago I was at 17% bodyfat so there is a drop. I am currently on a High Protein low Carb Diet. It just gets so frustrating watching these infomercials and wondering if the results a really true.

12 weeks is pretty much impossible in you started at 17%, maybe if you were juicing, like all those fitness models manlets in the commercials.
