    different types of six packs

This question might be hard to understand, but how come there seem to be many different kinds of six packs? Is it due to methods of training or is how an individuals abdominal muscles will look predetermined by genetics?

If you look at the attached files, pictures 1 and 2 - these two guys have six packs, but they look kind of thin and lumpy and not that great.

    On the other hand:
Six pack on guy in picture 3 looks full, and they are square, not thin lumpy rectangles.
another example would be like brad pitt in fight club.

how should you train to get the lean, full six pack look?

no homo, i know this thread is awkward

    no thread jack intended

a question i've had is how come some guy's top abs will be kind of crooked? Like one top ab muscle seems to be higher than the other. Is this genetics as well? or something to do with what side of there body undergoes more of the workload?

All positioning of the abs is genetic, the size is down to hypertrophy and the look is down to conditioning and lighting. Not many have perfectly staight abdominal muscles so I wouldn't worry.

Peoples ab muscles are different sizes and shapes due to genetics, theres nothing you can do about it.
