Hit Body Parts Once Or Twice A Week

Hey guys, I've been on this 4 day split which I work each body part once a week. I was just wondering which one is better for gaining mass & how often you work out each body part, or which has got the most results for you. Now before i get flamed, Yes I have read many Threads on this subject, i'm just looking for personal opinions. I will post workout if needed.

    Thanks in advance!

some people believe big muscle groups like back, chest and legs work ocne a week and smaller ones like delts bis tris and calves, work twice a week.

i just like to do once a week. because alot of the times ppl forget that if they do arms directly twice a week, its reallly 3 or 4 times a week because your using bis on back day and tris on chest day.

this is the split im doing:
    back
    rest
    chest
    rest
    legs
    delts/arm
    rest.

so really, its a trial and error for what works but i would say never train back legs or chest twice a week.

Makes sense seeing as you do use your tris when working chest and bicepts while working your back.

    Thanks dude.

i dont really think it matters what the days look like. i think all that matters for gaining mass is to work everything within 6 days. lots of compound moves for the first thing you do during your w.o

being sore isnt always an indicator for growth..just cause you wake up next morning and dont feel sore dosent mean to much.

your body adapts to training and what your doing.

youd be sore if next week you switched up your routine for arms and did completely diff exercises. trust me.

for example lets say i take a kid whos never barbell benched or DB benched ever. if i had him BB bench, hed be sore from it. after about 3 times doing it, he would find he wasnt getting as sore the next day. then if i had him do DB bench, the procces would repeat. hed be very sore again and then after about 3 times hed stop feeling so sore.
