Quick question for the board. I had a hernia surgery 10 months ago and I find that some of the more powerful lifts (Squat, Deadlift to be exact) put a bit more strain on this area then I would like. I know back braces put pressure on the abdomen, would one help?
Before you get all lecturish, I do back off when its starting to hurt a bit, but I can't cut these lifts out. They are essential for college football.
So, back braces, good or bad for my abdomen? Thanks in advance!
