    Help Please! Full Body Workout or.. 4 Day Split

    Hi Guys. Basically I want to change up my training as I?ve been doing the same routine for a while now and am not seeing any results i.e. strength increase muscle mass etc. so I?ve been looking at other routines and have come up with these two. Not sure which one would be better though for gaining mass and was hoping I could get some advice from here.

    1. 4 Day Split Routine:

    Monday ? Legs. Abs
    Tuesday - Chest, Triceps
    Wednesday ? Rest
    Thursday ? Back, Biceps
    Friday ? Shoulders

    This is a full body workout 3 times a week. (I found this in the training articles on the bodybuiling.com pages. And it?s meant to be great for mass. I?m jus thinking is it possible to get results with only a small volume for each body part?



    So any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

    Split for me.

    My body needs time to recover, I would not get enough rest training any body part more than once a week.

    The answer is to try both and see which works for you.

    As for the volume part of your question, Don't worry about it more is not necessarily better.

    Whats your routine like at the moment?

    For gaining size, I'd go with a split. My personal preference. Full body routines have their place, but not when it comes to physique sculpting, in my opinion.
